Kens Colors Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 I used a Pep boys 3500 watt generator for 2 years. I was happy with it. The only time it wouldn't run the A/C was when it was 114 @ Dumont. Kinda loud not real bad, but I just replaced it with the Honda quiet generator. YamaPimp Posted June 18, 2007 Share Posted June 18, 2007 Go with at least a 5500 and it will run the a/c no problem, then to make it quiet just add some 1/2 conduit wit a couple of 90`s and it will run as quiet as any other .
