Kens Colors Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 I used a Pep boys 3500 watt generator for 2 years. I was happy with it. The only time it wouldn't run the A/C was when it was 114 @ Dumont. Kinda loud not real bad, but I just replaced it with the Honda quiet generator. But it did serve its purpose for me for a couple of years, no problems, almost always started with the 1st pull of the rope. Quote

YamaPimp Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Go with at least a 5500 and it will run the a/c no problem, then to make it quiet just add some 1/2 conduit wit a couple of 90`s and it will run as quiet as any other . Or just sit it next to some one else to blok the noise. Quote
