indasand Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Well I used to have one as a kid (kind of ) But me and some friends are always without cell service and needed a way to communicate... So I went out and got me a cheap cobra for about $80.00 It will be perfect for 4 wheeling and maybe even @ the D... Anybody else have one? Quote

We usually use the small hand helds but the RV trailers like to block the signal. Comes in handy for instant warning of problems (smokeys, something loose on your rig, tire issue) anything you want to instantly let your buddies know about without the cell delay... Quote
