  2. Pete, great write up! Like Pete said this was a weekend full of hours of riding. That's exactly what I needed and Coral Pink straight out rocks.mike was freaking me out getting so close to that rattlesnake. Then I kept thinking how bad it would suck if he roosted a f'ing rattlesnake at me while riding behind him. Can you imagine? Last time I went I never went on the one way trail. I think I can say nobody goes through the one way trail as fast as we do! Holy smokes my legs are still sore. Seriously we were ripping through that thing as fast as possible. I almost got launched a couple of times and still managed to keep a big a$$ smile on my face the whole way through. Coral Pink has so much variety and its such a different feel than other places I've been so far. Good food, great company, priceless seat time equals a fantastic weekend!! I love these kinds of trips and this was such a good weekend. I can't wait to go riding again soon. I'm washing my bike down and changing all the fluids only hoping another trip is on the horizon soon. Pete thanks as always for your superior hospitality!!

  5. I say keep the 06 LBZ. Thats a great year and will last 400,000mi with a few easy mods. Might need some injectors and head gaskets and studs around 200k but it will keep on going. We make a filter adapter that screws on the stock fuel filter base and then you can screw on a 2 micron CAT fuel filter to the adapter. This brings the fuel filtration from 6-8 micron (OEM filter) to 2 micron (CAT filter). We see longer injector life, smoother running engines and longer intervals since its a larger filter. On top of all that the CAT filters are only $18. Put a good EFI live tune on that 06 and get 20-22mpg all day long and same or more power then a LML. The LML will end up costing you more in the long run due to so many more parts, DPF exhaust that will eventually fail and leave you stranded plus if the dealership doesnt warranty will cost $8000 to replace and yes you have to fill er up with UREA cow pizzz which isnt cheap. On the 07.5-2011 trucks they used to use fuel from the fuel tank to burn the soot in the dpf which caused sh*tty fuel mileage so the goverments solution was UREA which you have to buy to fill up a seperate tank and thats what now burns the soot. Sure the mileage came back up but at the expense of your pocket book so your really not saving anything.

  6. new LML Duramax Has a BIG azz restriction in the exhaust system, It's called a DPF You have to pour 5 gallons of cow PISS in a bottle under the hood every now and then. IMO keep the 06

  7. I am planning on going, and I think Mike is as well. We should be able to take 2 other quads on Mike's Flat bed trailer, and we have room in our trucks also.
