We had a great Halloween out there this year! The dunes were tore up but we ran them hard anyways. I was impressed with how many people were out there and especially at comp hill Saturday night. Wow! It was like the old days except this year we had the Star Wars crew, dancing dinosaurs, drones flying everywhere, and lights galore! It was so much fun. @b370 and crew did an outstanding job on the Star Wars Landspeeder. It was so cool to see everyone's reactions and really nice to see their appreciation for it. We got a good amount of trick or treaters in our camp. Lots of great costumes on the little ones. The weather was crazy. It was good for the most part except during the day it got really warm when the clouds weren't blocking the sun out. I think I saw 93 degrees on the truck readout Saturday afternoon. Here are some of my pics. Such a great weekend! Arriving Thursday night Friday morning I headed up to visit @sanddunesaddict's memorial and check out the crowd. Fri morning dune run to the North Pole Anna & Carrie Cruising through the Superbowl @Randog oops! @painterjoe We got a puker! lol @Sand_YFZ Quick stop after a dune run. @vegas style Fri night sunset Time for some Dumont night life. @702LTR450 stopped by to hang for a bit. You guys should head to Glamis and partake of the 13th Annual Veterans Day ceremony at the flagpole. It's an event like you won't find anywhere else. Bring some tissue, something seems to be in the air down there while this event is taking place. Happens every year on the Saturday of Veterans weekend at 11:11AM. When that's all said and done and you've had your fill of the dunes for the day round about dusk they hold the Marine Corps Birthday and cake cutting ceremony down at Wash 22. Both are awesome not to be missed events hosted by duners for duners.

damn, pete! you get around more than my first WIFE. you got pics of every one of my highlights of the weekend, and a whole lot MORE!...definitely got to save this one. thank you for GREAT pics...got to dune with you guys one more time before i die....oh, speakin' of dieing, i hear FBI director james comey died tomorrow. seee yuh!
