  1. ok, nothing internally changed. hey my banshee has a bolt on ice chest. I think its worth 4-5 hp!!!
  2. well the cylinder is bolted on right? lol.
  3. Does anyone want to list there set ups?
  4. nice, I would like to know what my bike is doing up the hill.....
  5. cool, this should be FUN, does anyone own a radar gun?
  6. im about 180lbs, and no nos, strickly bolt ons. I think a little silly in life makes it that much more fun.... we can pick a day when it gets closer, what do you guys like better banshee or comp, Im old school so I like comp. It will be cool meeting up with you guys!
  7. I dont know, maybe feb 16th (saturday) noonish or so......
  8. Any one up for a little compitition? I know everyone who rides wants to get the best bang for the buck. how about a little "bolt on" bike comparison.... We could meet up at banshee hill pres weekend and see who has the fastes "bolt on bike" so what do ya say???
  9. I know we are running away with this thread, but I would love to prove it to you guys Pres. weekend, just some friendly racing, and a chance to meet up with other people who love dumont....
  10. Same here, just wanna go back to the dunes
  11. I may be reading this wrong, but are you agreeing that the ltr will beat the yfz?
  12. Sand yfz, if you have someone in your group with a piped yfz and would like to run a ltr with stock pipe we will be there for pres. weekend, I promise you will not be let down. I am talking piped only, no cams ext.
  13. Sorry, I didnt mean to hijack the tread, the lt is one of the cleanest I have seen, and cant wait to race it! Dan, thanks for the input.
  14. Dan, I have heard nothing but good things about you and your shop, I just find it hard to believe you dont use slicks, every single reputable dyno tuning center I have heard about uses the slicks. Could the extra hp shown with the slicks be from not slipping?
  15. I have to disagree, check out the ltrhq and its proven that the tires will make a difference, there are stock pipe ltrs beating piped yfzs hands down.
  16. They are faster, but cost twice as much!
  17. I dont know Dan, but if he has a dyno he should have slicks to run on the dyno, knobbies will slip. honda 450 uses the same rims too, and ltz400/kawi400
  18. Vaccum leak? Who did the work Darin or Kenny?
  19. when they all gather at the hill and get drunk, and stupid how do you think they get back to camp? why not just put a banner up letting everyone know there will be a stripper pole in there camp and let everyone that wants to see it, hang out at there camp?????????
  20. best bang for the buck = new tires I recomend the 21x12x8 7 paddel hauler, with a 13t sprocket. with the air box lid off, butt plug removed and the cherry bomb this will put you infront of most honda and yfzs with pipes guarenteed
  21. tires, tires, tires, like 1badyfz said the 6 paddle extremes or padla brats, I picked up 6 bike lengths by changing tires and went to a 13th front sproket. from your picture it looks like your running sand stars right? if you are you might as well race with the parking brake on....
  22. I cant wait til friday night, finally back in the dunes.. hopefully it wont be to windy.........
  23. I had an 87 for over 10 years, over 4000.00 in the motor and it ran good, but you can never get that BIG piston to turn the rpm the banshees do. With high compression and big hp these things beat them selves to death. Your bikes all look great and I loved mine! Quad dizzle, did anyone tell you to weld up the rear ears on the cylinder, they are known for being weak and the cylinder cracking under the reed cage. I had mine welded and then the case broke. Redneck if you need any info let me know, mine was dialed in, I had Rudy Kurtz from port magic do his wonders on it. I did not mean to take away from the lt500s just trying to give a little input. great looking bikes again
  24. dunefreak, thanks a million!
