I have a 1981 atc 70 and fully restored it, the only change that I made was that I put a k&n on it, rejeted it and that made all the difference it the world. before it had a hard time pulling me around in 3rd gear, now 3rd is no problem. try that, its cheap and im sure you will be more than happy with the results. I buy all my parts from dratv too.

It will reduce my trips, 2 tanks of gas in the truck, plus fuel for the toys, and not to mention the groceries have gone up too. its a $400 weekend and I have not even left the driveway yet.

oh come on, cresting the razors on a 3 wheeler is the best, I have never riden a 2 wheeler in the sand but I think that would be harder.

just get a cp sabertooth or puma cylinder for your atc. the sabertooth is a 500 cc cylinder, it comes complete with case machinging, carb, clutch, pipe, you name it and makes over 100hp check it out its only about $5,000. if you want the # let me know...

Rudy kurtz of port magic in hesperia is also very familliar with the cr500, he was going to build mine until I decided to go another direction but he will be building that too. pm me if you want his # also your going to get a ton of vibration with the cr motor in the atc frame, you should use a cr frame and adapt your front end and swing arm to that instead. I have been looking into this for over a year and the #1 complaint of the cr in the atc frame is vibration. good luck,

last year some guys did park there trucks/buggies on the hill to light it up. but I think the best part of the 1 time was the "christmas tree" at the bottom of the hill...

im down with that ^^^^ I wasnt trying to make a bad idea, or open any can of worms, it was just alot of fun with the lights out there. I always miss they ddr meets so hopefully I can get to meet some of the guys here out there...
