get the 45' ww and you have the problem solved..........

load test those batteries a bad cell will suck away gen power it usually somthing simple try the sail switch if that doesnt do it try replacing the thermo coupler its cheap and fairly easy to replace.

and somtimes a simple cleaning works no joke !!!

No,it did not bog at all.alot more top end.ocean03 has those carbs now,i have 34mm's now.i think it ran better with the bored carbs.

1 REASON COULD BE A 5 DOLLAR THERMO COUPLER THEY TELL THE GAS SWITCH ITS WARM ENOUGH TO ALLOW GAS TO TRAVEL THROUGH THE VALVE ITS THAT COPPER THING THAT THE PILOT IS HEATING UP EASY FIX

OR

IF YOUR BATTERY IS TO LOW (YES YOUR 12 VOLT BATTERY) IT WILL NOT LIGHT UP .IF YOUR COILS ARE NOT CLEAN IT WILL OVER HEAT AND SHUT ITSELF OFF. HEATERS ARE PICKY IN RVS I HAVN'T HAD A RV YET I HAVN'T NEEDED TO REPAIR THE HEATER.

Are the tranny's that bad?

i wouldnt worry to much ron. theres alot of tranny shops out there that offer a inexpensive rebuild heres why,

they hire substandard employees that can disassemble and reassemble, but can not identify cause and effect.

also, they will rebiuld your tranny with used parts if theres a chip in the gear they will polish it and stick it back in, if they have an old set of clutches that are decent they will put them back in. sounds like lvnalolife is a victem. he saise his tranny was rattling before. which means nobody checked tolerances they through it back together. Your ford tranny should have upgrades in it. Ford did recognise the problem in 01 and upgraded unfortunately the kentucky rep saise you up the power, the tranny will go. some do, some dont total crap shoot . but once there done right there as good as ever.

P.S. the upgrade was actually in the 03s. however any remans that came from ford were ugraded, as i said once before, i lost my tranny @ 30,000 in my excursion i threw a sh*t fit and i wrote a bad report to ford on the questionair they send out ( i bought it new) i was called by the engineering rep in kentucky .thats where i got this info. for what its worth..........

furthermore the ktm 525 gets its tail STOMPED by the 05 crf450 i watched a xr600 take one apart at china wall.

now if they have changed ok but the 04 / 05s didnt impress me in the sand at all.

i have never seen a fast predator at dumont or glamis are we talking fast in a straight away race,or up a hill?my friend sold his predator for a yfz and said the predator was a total turd compared to his yfz.ive seen some fast ones in the midwest that nicholas cycle built but none out west.

i watched the predator shred the honda 450 they switched riders and it shreaded it again so my curiosity is can the yami shred the pred. the pred is 50lbs heavier than the trx. and still did it . of course im getting ready to biuld a banshee to smack up the preds. but has anyone seen any action on the hill with these 2 bikes squaring off. perssonally i was blown away that the preds had that kind of power, i think the 525 pred could be even nastier. but ktms 525 is a slug so who knows ..............................

the cool head is a big advantage because it wont overheat as easily if at all. i overheated mine at coral pink on a good hard ride before i installed the cool head. also run an inline cooler. stock carbs are the way to go with clamp on k and n's with outerwears. and of course proper jets. jet changing is a breeze this way without the damn air box. going budget a shaved head does make a difference. and yes overboring beyond necesity is a waste. porting makes a big difference on the top end but dont expect anymore power just duning. i tried 34mm kein's and the motor drowned in gas. leave those for the modified dragsters. i have a couple of shaved heads if you want to try one. cheap horspower. oh ya. get the spark plug lock. i let my boy ride my banshee for the first time and one plug loosened up just enough because of the way he rode it that the motor disintegrated. check out old post under scattered motor for pics. running a 12 tooth front sprocket will help. i have the reed spacers too but i dont know if they helped or hurt because i made alot of changes all at once.

He sure didn't want to get a hook from a poor little, Jap built, independent front suspended, injectors under the valve covers Duramax. Dang wife didn't have a camera. a couple months ago, at Oceano Dunes, this guy with a brand new Ford SRW 350 crew 4x4, and what looked like a brand new FSC 28 footer WW pulled onto the beach, and immediately became immobilized.

As I was heading over to help him, he did the forward/reverse thing a few times, and had sand up to his rims.

The dude forgot to air down!!!

I plugged my deflators onto his truck, then his rig, and within 10 minutes, under his own power, he pulled out.
