Guess I will chime in. The past 4 weeks have been very busy with a trip to Glamis on the 20th and then a over Nighter to Dumont on the 26th. Last week ( Easter) We rented a party Bus for 40 Peeps for my Sister In laws 40th. The bus never showed up. Well it did but it kept going. Bastards. We ended up heading out to restaurant and listened to music till the AM Hours. Sunday had A Easter Party. Two birthdays and the Kids had a blast. My days and recent few years have been flying by so quickly I can not seem to find the time to get everything done. To many plans and not enough time. I am relocating closer to my work. I currently for the past 8 years have been traveling 150 miles a day to get to my Facility. I Have been looking in the Old Town Pasadena Area which is only 16 miles each way and plan on moving by the first week of May. I then will be renting out my House and I will have to do a few up grades to make it move in ready. This will keep me busy over the next few weeks. Then once I move in the new place the un packing and purchasing of new Furniture will be fun. Last year I only took out my Boat once and I plan on taking it out at least 6-8 times. I would like to see another DDR Havasu Invasion. I missed out on the one in 2008. Let do it...Yiah. Open to any time in the summer. I hope to get one day trip to Dumont in preferably on April 24th. I have my Anniversary on April 17th. Going to the Conga Room across from the staples center. My last trip for this month will be Vegas. Most don't know I have a step son whom I have taken care of since he was 8. He turns 21 on 04*/27. So Vegas is where I have chosen to take him. We are heading out on April 30th. Staying till Monday morning. To think past the second part of may it will be hard My youngest daughter turns 6 05/25 we are planning a trip to Disney land. I have some 4fer tickets and they will expire in August. Have not used once yet. Time is running out. My older Daughter will turn 9 in August and it will be up to her what she wishes to do. Damn Spoiled kids. I know but When I grew up I did not have ISH..... I am open to any trips planned to Coral Pink during the hot summer days. Give me a couple weeks notice I will be there. Sorry If I bored you with only my next months Agenda. Is it October yet....

I guess the weekend was windy. How was the crowd was the area semi full? pretty damn empty? or packed. For the Kid driving the rail and flipped well we all know the IQ of some these parents and it's not very high. Good to hear the kid was OK and he will live to do it all over again. I stopped bringing tents a year before my Toy Hauler. Para sailing while trying to sleep was not fun. I rather sleep in my truck it was not going any where. Thanks for sharing for those who posted.

How many more trips do you have planned or are you done?

Can't really say how many are left. I will probaly make two more? I have bought a sand rail and have not even taken it on one descent run. Haven't had time to deal with it ( VW ) with all the fun Ive had this season. I do plan on hitting Havasu this year have not been since 2008. My boat is feeling depressed. As we all know plans change and Shiat Happens. Lets make this a nice summer vacation and the season is not over yet. I remember the post last year. Hows it to Dune in June. Weather was perfect in the middle of summer. We may get lucky again. -

I guess I am in a Made in the USA only business. ( Aerospace ) Until it is subcontracted out of the country I have a pretty stable Business. ( www.skymfg.net) My company produces Bolts for the Military and Commercial Airplanes. We had our best year in 2009 and we forecast a 20% increase for 2010. Business has been increasing the last three months and we have actually hired 6 new employees to make it a total of 65. I feel myself and family are very lucky and I feel blessed with the good in this period when many people are hurting.

a perfect 12 hours at Dumont: 9:30 to 9:30

I could have not asked for a better day at the dunes. Hell I did not even have one beer saturday too busy riding. Rolled in friday/ saturday morning at 1AM. Hell I even parked far north and thought the finger was getting bigger by the minute. I parked almost on the face of the big dune. Damn I was tired. Relaxed till about 3AM. Wind was blowing good so I knew the dunes were going to be smooth. Went out on our first at about 10Am and I knew the day was going to be the kinda day we all love to go to dumont for. Smooth sand and fast lines. I think I ate at least a pound of sand through out the day. Went on a total of 3 great runs but the third was the charm. Pete lead us to the north and we came back to comp non stop. The run felt like it lasted for ever. It seemed like we could just keep going forever. Had to load up saturday at about 6PM and head home. I am feeling the pain in my legs today as I had back to back weekends in the sand. I am probably out till the sand drags in August unless someone comes up with a trip to Coral pink or another place I have not been to yet.... Till next time. -
Hitn the road. Going to drink a 12 pk make a fire if the wind isn't crazy. Wake up and hit the dunes. No prob Nick. I can handle the task.
-
Shizzle my snizzle. Fo double dizzle on my Snit Snit... We are in. I guess the family wants to roll. Probably loading up the hauler tonight and arriving tonight. Yiah

Mark the kit rocked. It was quicker than most. Thanks.

Price is fair. About 1/2 the cost from new. 37HRS. Should have kept mine.

Search the Honda 70 section and you will find bits of eveyrhing you will be looking for. You may want to do a complete engine swap such as the lifan 110cc up to a 140cc. complete motor with electric start will cost approximately the same as upgrading to an 88cc kit. It just depends on what you wish to do to your 70 :atc: I choose to go with the 88Kit and keep most the internals all honda. It is a huge difference from stock. You can check out these links. http://dratv.stores.yahoo.net/ http://www.sterdyproducts.com/ http://www.atcheaven.com/index.htm http://www.3wheelerworld.com/index.shtml http://www.3wheeler.org/

Nick. I will know tomorrow afternoon if I will be able to pull another weekend away form the Family. Trying my best. Did not want to post until I was sure I was coming out. I will let you know as soon as I do...

I feel your pain also. I had a rottweiler about 10 years ago. He was only 5yrs old and I had to put him to sleep. He had Kidney failure and they were not able to help My Big Kahuna out. I had to have my mom take him to the vet. I could not take him myself it was a terrible feeling. I can tell you I remember when I started dating my wife way back. She told me once It's me or the dog. Well I kept the dog and I am now married to my wife.

Nice vid Rob. Cant wait to hit dumont again. It's coming in the near future.

The regatta I had a blast. Could have been better with the DDR Crew but hell we will meet up next time. The Regatta was about the dame size of The DDR regatta with only about 50+ :atc: ATC's. I was told it was the smallest turn out of the last 5 considering this was number 6. The races only consisted of time lap trials and which who were the fasted based on classes. There were no group racing which would have made it interesting. Drags were good with a few complaining the fastest number 414 was racing out of class. Seemed he was whooping some but and deserved the trophy. It was one of Urkels buddies. We definitly missed Smoking ALS and TCS but I am so looking forward to the 3rd DDR Regatta. There were only a few board member who arrived but it was great seeing every one of them. Busting B'S ( Chris ) great guy and threw one hell of a Party. Oregon peeps also new how to have fun. Passing around chocalate VJJ and TTS. Jello Shots and jungle Juice. I will be back for the next one. Good hanging out. The JR Builders had threw down on some really nice 70'S Great job Kids. I was able to get in three killer runs in Glamis. Two were out to China wall and brawley slide. One we hit half way to china wall there were nothing but Vigin dunes everywhere. Could of asked for a better weekend with the temps running about 85F. I have a few pics attached.

JR the fun will now never end. He will be asking to go every time. Family time is fun but you will still need those trips with the fellas.
