  5. Wish I could go but can't. Have to work that weekend. I think BW4 will be my first trip of the season. Unless these guys put on one more night races before Oct 7 weekend. It does sound like its gonna be a blast.

  7. This sounds like so much fun. I just wanted to remind everyone to bring your goggles. Your gonna need them. :redhat:
  8. I dont think comp hill will be whooped out this time of year. It is the best hill to race by far. Long and steep If I can make it I have a 4500 watt honda generator and a couple 100 foot heavy gauge extention cords for the lights.
  9. I know the full moon weekends are the best. And this does sound like so much fun! Ill see if i can move things around and make the 12th, a early morning dune ride before it gets hot sounds like fun too!
  10. Earliest I can do it is the 19th (that following weekend) Just that time of the year with business commitments.
  11. Dang I cant make it the 12th I have a show starting up and have to work that weekend.
  12. Would it be just heads up racing or are you thinking of doing classes?
  13. I think a good set of hand cuffs and one of these bad boys http://www.kbspersonalsecurity.com/blackcobrastunguns.htm would offer hours of fun and amusement to get your point across.
  14. Yup they have the plastic clips on the bottom to hold them in place against the window frame so they done swing around. Just measure the top side to side. Get the next size bigger and have them cut it to your length. It is a really trick machine they use and its free to cut them. Then make sure your have enough length. They come in all sizes. Just come close to your window and they will customize it. They are good quality and for 25 bucks.... You may have to use the new hangers they give you but its two screws. Peice of cake. Takes 15 minutes to put the first one in, then like 7 minutes to put the second etc etc. All kinds of colors to choose from too. Hope that helps.
  15. Sorry to hear about the vandalism/thieves. That sucks and I have had my share of theives over the years too. We all feel your pain. Just thought I would share with you on the horizantal blinds. I just replaced some on my trailer and I bought them at home depot. Was only 25 bucks per window. They will custom cut them to length for no additional charge. They have a machine there that cuts them perfectly. I was thinking too on the security thing too and Im assuming you keep the trailer at your house. I had a freind that bought these baby monitors. They are like audio monitor devices and they go like 2000 feet. Leaves one in the motorhome and the other at his bedside at nite. If you hear anything, grab your favorite equalizer and go investigate! http://www.securebaby.com/sb2791.html Just a thought.
  16. I want one now. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/88fe7cd...c8070fb4676.htm
  17. Might try calling these guys. I have them coat my pistons. http://www.xtremeperformanceheatcoatings.com/
  18. I’d say if you want an all around do it all quad (Desert, Dirt, and Sand) get one of the sport 4 strokes. The convenience of electric start and no mixing fuel is pretty desirable. If you just do sand and enjoy both hill shooting and duneing, I would get a Used Banshee. There are many inexpensive used ones (that are in excellent shape) on the market that you can get into relatively cheaply. But if you plan on modifying it, make sure that you enjoy wrenching on it a lot. If you don’t like to wrench to get the most out of it, I would not get a Banshee. They are awesome but they do require tinkering if you want to be competitive on the hill. I’d suggest buying the Yamaha mechanics manual and learn from everyone that knows how to work on them as often as you can. They truly are simple once you learn the basics of how they work. If you plan on modifying it, there is a ton of used parts on the market that people are selling as they move to 4 strokes or have upgraded their parts to newer ones. If your patient and look for deals you can get that Banshee very competitive for not much money and besides you get to hone those negotiating skills ? Or you could buy a 250r and drop a 500cc Sabertooth jug and head on it
  19. Your thread got me thinking. Looks like Im gonna need to get upgraded to a non commercial A license too. Here is the Cali DMV Handbook. dl648.pdf
