  1. We will be at Gordon's Well for the rest of the year. Actually just T-Day and New Years. After that it's MLK Day at Glamis for Clean-Up weekend. Then the rest of our trips will be Dumont.
  2. We had a 21" Wanderer Wagon. Towed it with a 1500 4wd Suburban. Seems like a good combination, right? Wrong!!! Very unstable. Needed sway away like a mofo. Even with torsion bars it wasn't pretty. I think it is an SUV thing.
  3. CMY has it right. The Firestone RideRight kit was a breeze on my 2500HD. I did the bags, onboard compressor, air tank, wiring and plumbing in less than an afternoon. Would have been faster but
  4. For those of you lucky enough to be at Dumont this weekend, (I will be visiting Gordon's Well) be advised that the "Etnies 2 Wheel Tour" will end up at Dumont Dunes. Starring such riders as Seth Enslow, Twitch, Brian Deegan and Tim Ferry. WTF? I go three staright weekends (minus Halloween) and then miss the big show.

    Holy CRAP

Oddly enough, it was #86 that got his package blasted!
  6. I was being generous. I really could not tell which manufacturer it is so I used specs from Eclipse RV. They make the "Attitude" line. It kinda looks like that brand.
  7. Honda Ridgeline tow capacity = 5,000lbs 26" front sleeper toybox = 5,300lbs dry weight Perfect example of "the tail wagging the dog"???
  8. Well last year when you guys put up that "Fortress", I would have bet that no one would be able to wreck it. But humans never cease to amaze me with there ability to destroy things. Once again, it was full of trash, and it looks like someone tore the door off of it. Or blew it off. When you say a while back how long ago are you talking?
  9. Well, I'm sure it was the "North Pole" but maybe those young ladies just saw a pole and some primal urge took over!
  10. I may be way off but the "North Pole" is or was actually an old mining claim holder. At one time it had the claim papers inside of a small capped piece of 2" pipe that was welded to another length of pipe that was set in the ground. Since then the "Pole" has had many different incarnations. I think this one is the sturdiest of them all. This past weekend I saw 3 young women (late teens / early twenties) all hanging off of it.
