It was a great weekend. Looking forward to President’s Day Weekend!

So, I haven’t posted in a while so I thought I’d post now. Our weekend was pretty awesome!! Small group, just my family and a buddys family. It was his first time out in his new sand rail and my 11 year old sons first time on the “big boy” quad. All went well, nothing broke, my son did awesome, and I met some cool people. Even ran into Joe Duner at Veterans Hill on Sunday!! The crowd was a good size, not too big. The road in was good. The weather was awesome, although I don’t know about Monday because we left Sunday at 4:30 for the trek home. We do plan on being there for Prez Day and hopefully I’ll see ya there!! Here are just a few pics......

Hey everybody, I'm in need of an Off-On-On toggle and I can't seem to find one. The switch in my sand car is bad and needs replacing. What it does is my buggy whip on the first "on", then my buggy whip along with my gauge lights and tail lights. Anyone know where I can order one online or an automotive shop?? Thanks!

Well for the first time back to Dumont in 3 years, we had a great time!! The weather was great, except for Sunday and the wind. That's what made us leave on Sunday as opposed to Monday. But no worries, a good time was had!! Here are some pics...... Our little camp.... Around the fire and somebody likes telling me I'm number one.... My son got some quality seat time...... Blown away by all the lighted whips. Wasn't like this back in the day. My daughter and I ready for the dune ride of the day.....

I'm selling my sons 2006 Yamaha TTR50. Minus some scratches on the fenders, the bike is in pristine condition. It has 3 gears, no clutch, a throttle limiter, just serviced, green stickered through 2018, I have title in hand, & is a great beginner bike! I am located in Santa Clarita Valley, Ca.. Here are some pics of my trip out. I know it's a few weeks late, but having my gallbladder removed after my trip, haven't exactly had time to put up some pics. But here ya go..... Had an awesome trip!!! The weekend was great!! Great weather, great friends, and great times!! I haven't been to Dumont in 2 years and I couldn't have asked for a better weekend to return!!!

I've been going to Dumont since October 1999 and this past weekend that road was in the best condition I've ever seen it in!!! Awesome job guys!!!

Had a bad start to my weekend. On the way up there on Thursday evening I was 5 miles outside of Baker, passing a big rig, and KABOOM!!!!!!!!!! So this put me back about an hour, and then I had a preety good vibration in the whole motorhome after the spare was put on. After some brainstorming with buddies, we determined that I had an unbalanced spare causing the vibration. But on to Dumont I went. Got there Thursday evening and just had a kick back kind of night with the friends. Some drinking, some laughs, some music, and some fire.....all was good!!! We wake up Friday to some great weather and dune all day!!!! Plus the kids were having a great time as well!!! My daughter, who's first trip to Dumont was at the ripe age of 5 weeks, was tooling around in her little buggy all around camp. Meanwhile my 3 year old son was not only having a good time riding in whatever moved, he was also just being a 3 year old boy all weekend long. Then my car starts to act up on Saturday... If I got anywhere near half throttle, it would die. So after changing out the feul filter and that not helping, I'm hoping it's the pump in my feul injection system, but time will tell. So I decided to trailer my car and just hang. Sunday, out little group decided to hit the road for home so we could have all day Monday to unload our rigs without being in a big rush. I didn't get a lot of pics. But even after having what I would call an eventful weekend, it was all made good when I saw my now 8 year old daughter up on a quad all by herself and doing great!!!! All my issues with my motorhome tire, and my car not running right seemed to fade away when I saw that!! I was a proud dad....

No but that was pretty damn gnarly!!!!! I say a half stick of dynomite!!

I had to start this topic because I am so effing excited to be going!!! I haven't been to Dumont since November 2011, and I'm dieing for some sand in my crack!! Anyway, looks like a small group for me. Possibly just my family and another family, camped around pooper #10. So who else is going, and I hope to see a few of you when I'm there!!! Can't wait!!!

First sandcar back in circa '99 Second and current sandcar. I've had this for about 9 or 10 years and she's still running strong.

For the first time in the 12 years I've been going to Dumont, this past weekend was the 1st time I have ever been able to do the speed limit!!! Thanks BLM!!!!
