Nice YFZ Dreamrr :2gunsfiring: . That thing is pretty noticeable in the dunes. I saw you come up over th top of comp and I knew whos bike that was.

My quote was through Farmers insurance. They have ATV insurance but they get it through someone else. State Farm might go through someone else too.

So the $650 a year for two quads doesn't sound too bad. Who do you go through?

I am not sure if everyone on here has ATV insurance, but if you do who do you have it through? I got a quote from my car insurance place and it was $675 a year for my two quads. That is with full coverage and I had the two down as worth $16,000. It sounded kind of steep to me, but is this about what insurance runs?

Yeah I got stopped by a highway patrol when we were leaving. He stopped me and asked me what I was doing. Umm...driving home I said. The CHP gives me this stupid look and says don't you know the road is closed. WTF!!! 15 minutes later he lets us drive again. But we didn't just hit it going home, we hit it on the way out too. Our 2 hour trip took us almost 3!!! We rode by the DDR camp about 2pm but nobody was around. I revved up a bit to see if anyone would come out but nothing. We did meet Dreamrr out at comp hill. I guess we will have to meet up next time. Awesome trip though.

I have Sprint. It works in some places but in a lot more if it's on roaming. :yeah_whatever:

Me and my wife and Ocean03 and his wife should be out there early Saturday morning for a day trip. So as long as Ocean03 gets his bike all put back together before then . We will see you all out there. :huh:

I have two tattoos and I have had 5 piercings. Just have my ear lobes done now. Took the eyebrow out a while back, and the tops of my ears had to go for the wedding last fall.

The razorbacks were awesome. It is sweet being the first ones of the day to go over most of the dunes.

Wednesday was an awesome day for riding. Nice weather and only about 20 people out there.

You would think of getting a longer brake line with a longer swingarm. Wish I would have had warning first. Oh well... I also noticed that the stock front brake lines snake up too. If anyone is going to add +2 a-arms, it looks like getting stock length aftermarket lines would work. Bone stock with a pipe...

I would say more like 99% of you, until you actually have a day off during the week. Either everyone had the same idea as you or the unemployment rate is out of control. Stores, restaurants, whatever are all packed like it is a weekend.

Was just wondering if anyone is going out on Wednesday this week. Me and Ocean03 can't make it this weekend so we are planning a day trip. It shoud be sweet having the dunes all to ourselves for the day. :shocked2: If anyone is going let us know so we can hook up and go for a ride. I don't think we will be hard to find. :shocked2:

Sweet YFZ dreamrr!! :mc_smiley: I just got a new +4 swingarm and modquad carrier for mine. Advice...if anybody adds a +4 swingarm or under, you can use your stock brake line. Notice the snaking of the brake line. Do not order a +4 brakeline!!

Your welcome for the posted pictures. As to the stock horsepower on a YFZ, I would say around 37, give or take a horsepower or two.

I am just trying to put all this hype about this thing having between 45 and 50 horsepower stock to shame. If it had anywhere near that, he would have been right there with me every time we went up comp. I am guessing it has near what a YFZ has stock.

Sorry we didn't get to ride with any of you guys on Saturday but Ocean03 lost a K&N clamp on filter on his Banshee Friday night and we had to cut the trip short. You would have thought with all the banshees out there someone would have had an spare one, but no. But we did get a couple of pictures of what we could. Oh yeah, no vandalism done to the North Pole yet. Still looks good as new. Some of the action.... Some of the bikes.... Saw two of these out there.... I beat one in a drag race on my YFZ by quite a few quad lengths....

We will be out there Friday afternoon. Saturday at 2 sounds good to meet up and go for a ride. See you all out there. :shocked2:

I am going to try and make it out there. My 06 YFZ hasn't touched the sand yet. I have been in Houston since the beginning of January on business and I need some Cali sun and sand. I am flying back in on the 31st. I haven't met anyone from this site yet so maybe we can meet up and go on some rides.
