I need to adjust my drinking schedule according. Fuggin idiots.

Not this week for me. I just got back from a ride and now I'm gonna pop in a movie and hold down the couch. Maybe next week. I don't know what happened to TT. As far as my situation...I quit going out as much to cut back on spending. Much cheaper to drink at home. Besides, less and less people were showing up when I made the attempt to make one happen. I'm usually down though if I don't have plans already so let's revive it!

sh*t, if the weather stays cool like it has been, it might be like Halloween weekend out there for Memorial weekend!

In the first sentence of his post he said he doesn't have A/C. 1000-2000 will be just fine for lights and charging the batts. Just remember a toaster draws alot too if you make toast and crap.

Memorial weekend is not a popular weekend at Dumont. The "dune season" at Dumont is pretty much over by most until October. That weekend is usually very hot...like about 100 degrees. Some people still go, but duners usually head to cooler areas like up north; Coral Pink, Little Sahara, etc. I wouldn't expect many people at all for Memorial weekend out at D. If you go, bring plenty of water when out in the dunes.

There is no issue with the BLM. They don't care if we go out and light the hill and race....as long as everyone is legal they are cool with it. I've heard that straight from Larry Blaine. It's not against any rules. I think because the LEO's wrote some people tickets in the past for no lights, whip, etc...some hill shooters guys might think that was a form of harassment. That was not the case. If everyone is legal and plays by the rules, there shouldn't be any tickets written. I think because of that, everyone thinks this needs to be a hush hush thing. Personally I don't care to go out at night anymore during the summer for these night drag type trips. It's alot of $$ to go out for the little bit of duning I can get in. I don't run the hill anyways and the dunes are too dangerous in the summer to run how I like to at night.

Hey Terry couple questions... 1) The minutes mention the fencing project will start in August. Could you refresh my memory and tell me where the fencing will be installed? Out near the south pole area right? Anywhere else? 2) Larry mentioned that there is still significant off-route travel along the Sperry Wash route. Have they installed any more signage since we discussed how confusing it was as to what is actually off limits? 3) That saturday meeting, like Bert asked....will that be June 9th or July 9th? 4) On the DAC summary and notes it mentioned DDR an opportunity. Just let me know anytime how we can help make even more use of the site to help benefit Dumont. Thanks

What a kickass time this year! We got there early and tailgated with the hauler. b370's buddy made some amazing dutch oven potatos/bacon/veggie contraption....oh damn that was good grubbin! Not to mention burgers, dogs, beers, cocktails, etc. Oh yeah! Great races. I was crushed when Bubba and Windham went down! That sucked bad for both of them! I managed to get some killer shots of when it all happened too. Here's the pics I took.
