  1. I don't even know wtf is going on. I see nothing wrong with threads like these other than they are just annoying, but posting annoying stuff is not against the rules of this board. I don't dig politics so I just choose not to read them.

  8. WOO HOO...a holiday to drink. :drunks: I'm gonna throw on some green and head down to Tom Foolery tonight for some Irish grub and about ten pints of ale. What are everyone's plans? Any? Thought I'd share some history of the holiday... video... http://link.history.com/services/link/bcpi...bctid1455377204 Who Was St. Patrick? St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, is one of Christianity's most widely known figures. But for all his celebrity, his life remains somewhat of a mystery. Many of the stories traditionally associated with St. Patrick, including the famous account of his banishing all the snakes from Ireland, are false, the products of hundreds of years of exaggerated storytelling. The History of the Holiday St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17, his religious feast day and the anniversary of his death in the fifth century. The Irish have observed this day as a religious holiday for over a thousand years. On St. Patrick's Day, which falls during the Christian season of Lent, Irish families would traditionally attend church in the morning and celebrate in the afternoon. Lenten prohibitions against the consumption of meat were waived and people would dance, drink, and feast—on the traditional meal of Irish bacon and cabbage. http://www.history.com/content/stpatricksday

  10. You gotta remember, it's 16K posts over the last ~3.5/ 4 years. I just did the math. That's really only about 12-18 posts per week day.
