OPS at HOB (inside restaurant) this Thursday! 9:00, September, 11 2008 at House of Blues Accoustic Strip (All Ages & Free) !!! They usually don't go on till late since there's usually 2 bands before them, but I think we'll probably make it regardless. It's always a fun show.

That would have been a good question to bring up at the last TRT meeting. I know the helipad was expected, but the "resident pads" were kind of a suprise to some of us. Those cost quite a bit of money. I'm pretty sure the grant money had to be used towards a particlar use like "maintenance" or whatever, but I also thought that if grant money was raised this year there was talk about our fees going back down if it helped the budget out. ...just another reason you guys should all try and make these meetings. It helps to brainstorn on public forums, but it gets nothing done unless it is brought up to the BLM. I wish I could answer that for you, Brian. Good question. :dumbass:

yep, their idea is to completley phase out staff on site AS WELL AS no fee machines at Dumont. :dumbass: Ya know what I think? Yea right! It's never gonna happen or work. You have to have SOME WAY for newbies and non-internet surfing duners to buy a pass on-site. Not everyone is going to see the signs in Baker or online. This season should be pretty smooth sailing. If not the BLM will make it work- they always do.

So some of you know crazymexeddie, some don't. He's a trucker now and is on the road all over the country. Crazy bastid. One time he called me from some where in Kentucky (again) saying he was gonna check out a demo derby or circle track race and was wondering if they sold BEER there? I said are you friggin kidding me? He texted me back later on telling me they sold 6 packs covered in ice for like 5 bucks.

One more thing, another huge thanks goes out to YNOT (Terry) for everything he does for us. That drive to Barstow SUCKS bad and costs lots of time and money in fuel and time away work. This has been the 3rd meeting I have attended and I really started to realize what he and all the other TRT members go through to help out Dumont. THANK YOU!
