  1. I feel your pain. In 1995, I got hit from behind by an illegal alien with no license or insurance. I sustained a whiplash that required 42 visits to a chiropractor before I could loook over my left shoulder without major pain. My insurance company at the time (The Good Hands People) refused to take care of me. I had to sue my own uninsured motorist policy just to get them to take care of the medical bills! In the end, they paid nearly 3 times as much as they would have paid if they just took care of me like they should have to begin with!

I hear the bottles you are referring to are SOBE energy drink bottles, but I've never seen it done up close.
  3. Here's something a little different...try oatmeal with vanilla ice cream and a little sugar for breakfast! Delicious if you like oatmeal and it'll stick to your ribs all day long!
  4. Daniel and his entire family are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you all.

    My girls

Be proud of your kids! They got their character and concern for others from somewhere...I'm guessing their parents! Such a selfless, thoughtful act is something to brag about in my book! I'm proud of them and I've never met them!
  6. I've driven both, bought the Rhino. Ranger is an excellent machine with more hauling capacity, more towing capacity, and one more "seat". It's faster stock at 700 CC EFI than the Rhino 660. A few things made up my mind. More after-market stuff for the Rhino Rhino is narrower than the Ranger, fits better in my hauler and on tight trails The CVT/engine brake feature on the Rhino is great when moving through the dunes or over rough terrain, rarely have to touch the brakes Fit and finish on the Rhino is, in my opinion, better than the Ranger. There is a lot of plastic on the Ranger, less on the Rhino. Price difference was, in my case, about $1,500...that paid for my 4-seat cage and most of the back seat I read a ton of forums and found that all side-by-sides have problems...most of the serious SXS posters recommend Rhino over the Ranger I have 600 miles on the Rhino and we've driven everything from dunes to soft sandy trails, to rough, rocky trails, to open desert and even a dry lake bed. It's done everything I've asked of it and more. I think the big deciding factor for you will be what you plan to use it for. Will it be for play only? Or will you be doing farm work too? If you're going to use it for work on a regular basis, you probably want the Ranger for the greater hauling/towing loads. That's my humble opinion. Good luck!

    SAD SAD SAD DAY

My oldest daughter attends the same high school the young man graduated from. I didn't know him, but my daughter tells me he was very outgoing and friendly. He was three years older than my daughter, so she did not know him well, but he dated a girl my daughter was friends with. The young man's nick-name was "Hoss." This is an absolute tragedy that has affected many, many people. Obviously, his family and friends most of all. OGP, my family and I are truly sorry for this terrible loss. Hoss and his family have been in our prayers and will continue to be.
  8. Heavy duty cable, disc padlock, all toys chained together and to the hauler...110 pound Shepherd, Glock 21/Mossberg 500 and a very light sleeper... I've heard the XD is an excellent weapon, but I've owned Glocks for more than a decade...kinda got used to them.
  9. I know just the place. I bought mine from a great lady in Arizona. Her business is AZ Custom Creations and she sells canvas tops for stock Rhinos and Rangers on e-bay. I e-mailed her and asked if she would be willing to try making one for my 4-seat Rhino. She was more than happy to do it and it came out great! Excellent quality black canvas with heavy duty Velcro attachments so you don't have to put holes in your cage. Custom made for your cage with your photos and measurements. She charged me $125.00 plus $8.95 shipping. She can make them in red, green, and blue too. Customer service was OUTSTANDING! Lots of great communication. I've had my Rhino at DD and Ocotillo since getting the top. The thing fits perfectly, no wrinkles, no flapping in the wind. My Rhino maxes out at 40MPH (stock) and the top stays put. It keeps the sun off your heads without obstructing the view. If this one ever wears out, I'll definitely be buying another from Nikki and John. Just found her business card...e-mail John or Nikki at AZCstmCreations@msn.com
  10. RV repair would be great! We spent the last weekend of September at DD with a refrigerator that wouldn't cool. Fortunately, we had several ice chests and several friends with working fridge's. Last season, we met some great folks who couldn't get their fuel station to work. They tried everything. Called the dealer, no luck, tried siphoning the fuel, no luck. Eventually, they took a trip to Pahrump (sp?) and bought a few gas cans and fuel so they could ride. 100 miles +- round-trip in a King Ranch F350 was not a cheap trip! Tow service would probably be really expensive to run and make any money. My family is new to duning/off-roading, but we consider DD to be our favorite place to be with our toys and friends. In three trips to DD, I have towed a bike with a broken chain, a teenager on a crashed quad, a 2wd pick-up high-centered at the entrance to the camping area, and a huge Class C with a box trailer stuck in the sand. I would never let someone stay stuck if I could help it. In return, I have had my entire truck and hauler towed out of deep sand by another duner. I have had my Rhino towed out of deep sand too. I carry two tow straps and I'm always looking for anyone who needs help. We have purchased items from the vendors every trip and I know we will continue to do so. We appreciate them being there. We try to be self-sufficient, but nobody's perfect. Thanks vendors! We'll see you next weekend!
  11. For anyone who is interested in sending a serviceman or woman a card, letter, or care package, checkout www.anysoldier.com You can select a soldier, sailor, airman, marine, or coast guardsman and let them know how much you appreciate their service. My little boy just raised $130.00 in cash by taking donations in exchange for lemonade at a classic car show our church held. We selected an Army medic stationed in Afghanistan and sent him a 35 pound care package full of stuff he and his fellow soldiers will enjoy. But remember, these American heroes need to know we support them and are grateful for their service, so a card or letter is just as good as a care package. God bless America and God bless our troops, wherever they may be! Sarge
  12. We bought the X-Box system about a year before the X-Box 360 was released. My boy loves it, but it is getting to be obsolete because you can't buy many games for it at retail outlets. You can still get them at Amazon.com and e-bay. I hear the X-box 360 is quite a machine and the price was recently lowered by about $50 or $100. I would recommend looking at the type and price of games available for each system before you decide. That might help you make your choice. Check out your local Best Buy or Circuit City or go online. That's my .02! Sarge
