i cant help but noticing this fact here......a few people, with more years @ dumont than I am old, have chimed in and said that the EMT services @ dumont are limited.....resouces were not available last year when the CA budget was is full swing....a boom...... And with the CA budget in the crapper...the EMT situation isnt going to get any better any time soon.. And nicely, these people have told you this yfzdad. Still, you choose to ding them. the people you are referring too cannot solely do anything about the situation you have complained about. I feel it would be better to steer your agressions toward your elected officials and quite possibly the BLM.. You might get somethng more out of it than possibly having some of Dumont's finest people at odds with you because of this situation. just an observation, and not attempting to pizz anyone off. I like toast

im not as concerned with the amount of deaths, as I am the anti-access groups using these fatalities AGAINST US to take our riding areas away. many arguments about safety in our riding areas have been brought up by the Sierra Club and their little hate-monger sub groups. as stated before its good to know these things off the top of your head, so, when the time comes, you can give that little factoid to your govt elected official when he/she is voting on closing one of your favortie riding areas it never ceases to amaze me how many people off-road, but are not aware of the fine line our sport walks every day

over superbowl weekend, we were there from Wed through Sun...... we went for a short ride in the ranger LATE wED NIGHT to get cell service @ the north pole & make a call..and caught some of the BLM people putting up the fence, stuck WAAAAY out in outta bounds territory when we arrived on the scene, they said they had been out there for 4-5 hours already.... i guess that is what is expected when you choose to dune OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE

all those mears foolios.....roger and his family even rick and his family grew up in Bako.....i remember riding my bike in the foothills north of town out by the bakersfield speedway (okie bowl) and seeing what was a trophy truck back in the 70's.. (full truck body on a race frame with hopped up engine/tranny) just flyin over jumps out by cheapskate and chalk hills .it had "mears gang" in white letters down the red side of the truck..you could hear those clowns a mile away factoid...cheapskate hill was called so, cause all the cheapskates would go to the top of the hill to watch the races @ the okie bowl, instead of paying to get in. perfect view from the top of the hill too
