it was a great time. the dellanini's showed up from fresno (113 mile trip) rich has a nice new ford dually.. i cannot believe the room in that back seat the usuals were there Raptorgirl and her husband, jacksclan, who had to cancel a trip to the desert due to inclimate weather, was there with family too. a few more FoOD peeps showed up + some Kamprats too good times...we had to cut out early to continue to get ready for our trip this weekend...2 hours @ wallyworld

i prolly coulda dropped a duece on the front bumper of that semi, and it woulda got outta that i would have liked to see that jeep ATTEMPT to tow that full load

you can bring your car....not a lot of space to open it up tho gotta watch out w/ the wheelies.....it gets dumont-sized crowds shoved into only 1500 acres (dumont is 15,000)

the valero in baker will be moving soon, if they havent already they have been building a new place since i went through there back over thanksgiving...... fyi

oceano in on the Cal central coast.....about a 6-8 hour drive from the vegas area...the dunes are a sandbox compared to dumont, but there are several small cities nearby, and the weather is great...50's at night...70's during the day some of the best seafood to be had is in that area too.

ive never had hot apple pie, but i can tell you this...it tastes like apple pie, but in liquid form, and has 190 proof alcohol in it...its a fuggin azzkicker. make sure you dont have any future plans for like 12 plus hours when you start drinking it...its fuggin spiritual hey, those hot todys are a little high fa-lutin for a flatbiller like yourself, arent they? damn Eli trust me about the closures...i know what the hell is up...i am a member of friends of the oceano dunes...we have to constantly fight to keep that place open...a daily fuggin struggle i know what is ahead for dumont. there are enough people here on this site that are level headed enough to make the right decisions when the time comes plus we have the members of the TRT committee and members of friends of Dumont Dunes to advise us on situations that crop up, so that we can form an action plan. all you can do bro, is take one day at a time....its not worth the drop in your quality of life to do otherwise. and what cmyfirepole said...who told you you arent welcome here? 1 bad 4fiddy?
