when you say trailer, if you are referring to a big toyhauler....i would go with a diesel and not just ANY diesel dodge....all years seem to be good...good solid truck GM...yes there are certain years that have the problems on the dmax, but all in all..they seem to do pretty good ford....................the 7.3 was a kick a$$ motor...you can still find some of them with some decent mileage around stay the away from the 6.0 (sick liter) the new 6.4....
