Bruce, I didn't say Vic wasn't a good peep. Just asked why he wants to send all those morons to OC!!? Your right, nobody likes the trash. Just asking why he wants to send them to my area when they come from all over.

Good morning Vic. What do you have against people in the OC? My friends that camp with me are not "crack azzes and meth mouths". I know you were not bundling all OC peeps in that statement, but why send them to the OC?? My friends and I, including SANDAWG, always try to participate in cleanup weekends. Also, we clean up any trash we come across in and about the area we camp in and ALWAYS leave the area in better shape than we found it. You can't bundle them "nasty fuggers" as being from any specific area. These morons come from all over and think nothing of trashing our desert and the consequences of their actions. To all who deplore this trashing of our recreation areas, thanks for your hard work in cleaning it up!! Perhaps Adam has it right. Would two cleanups be feasible? I know there would be additional costs involved. However I would hate for the tree huggers that want to close our riding areas, venture out after a big weekend and acknowledge what some idiots leave behind. Terry, I know it's got drawbacks, but what do you think?

Sorry Pete, must have been the computer I was using and it didn't refresh. I was using SANDAWG's computer and you know how old it is!

Wow!! Terry lays low for a few days and lets the Dawg rest, then you pick up the challenge. Hey Sandawg, you out there? Another gauntlet has been thrown!!!

Nothing really new compared to past SSSS's. It's already been said, LOTS of SXS's. The new Can Am Maverick's look pretty cool. The 4 seat model will not be out until Summer 2013. Quite a few custom and overpriced SXS's ($35,000+ ). Super hot Saturday and cooler Sunday. I couldn't find a number of vendors from past years (Embee Powdercoating, Sand Buggy Supply etc.) Sand Limo was outside again this year instead of inside. Not as much bling as in past years with sand rails hanging from the ceiling. Fewer small vendors this year. It appears the economy has run them out of business or they simply can't afford to participate at the Sand Show. Did see some high dollar, big horsepower motors and LT cars, but - - - - I sure can't afford a $150K car. Beer was $9 for a small cup. Saw Larry in the BLM booth and picked up the annual pass. Didn't have a camera, so no pic's. Several photographers from Sand Sports Magazine were there so the next issue will be full of photos.

Somebody has to ask. How much??

Hi Matt. Not a lot of information in your profile. Do you live in the Las Vegas area? You don't see a lot of tent camping at Dumont, especially because of the wind (and the hard and rocky ground ) ! Yes, there are some, but it's not the most comfortable situation. Adam has it right, camp near others to block the wind. How do you haul that CR500, in the bed of your truck? I don't know your situation, but you might consider a small enclosed trailer with minimal conveniences. Welcome to the site and consider meeting at the South Pole on a big weekend Saturday for the meet and greet at 2:00.

In case you haven't seen it, the October issue of Hot VW's magazine is out. Sandawg is shown on page 44 and with a little urging might autograph an issue for you (for a price). Congrats Pat! Nice layout and story by Neal Rideout (FE135)!! Almost forgot - - - - - where is Henerson, Nevada???

Well sandawg, I think this post has met it's end. Nothing posted since late August. Any other experiences you would like the good people of DDR to comment on!??!

Holy pooh howdy! I can't believe one of Sandawg's post topics has gone to three pages!! I remember a time several years ago Pat had to beg his peeps to even read one of his posts. I also remember Desertskyz getting all over him for something he posted, then Pat had to "pull his post!" Remember that one Dawg?? This thing is going viral!

Wow! First time I've seen this post as Carolyn and I have been on a 30 day, 4200 mile trip with the 5th wheel to most of the western states. Terry, you and your group are more than welcome to camp on the bluff with us. I'm sure Sandawg has filled you in on the diversity of our group. It would be a lot of fun. Carolyn is having knee surgery on Nov. 15th and you would have a lot in common. See ;you soon, Rocket and Booster .

Ok Dawg, first off, I have NEVER run out of libations. I have however, been low on Ice. AND - - - - I have never requested any libations from you, especially that Evan Walker stuff you say is as good as Jack!
