  1. Manual would be nice and strong. Lot of guys do it on the 02s and earlier. If you want to stay with the auto, talk to Baca transmissons. They did my 02 and it has been fine. They are in vegas close to 515 and Charleston.
  2. BUMP! Might be open to a trade for guns or whatever.
  3. SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! Up for sale is my 2009 Zeiman trailer. Single axle, Tool Box, Gas Can Rack, Spare Tire, Built in Ramp, 6W x 10L Deck. I used it to haul my RZR, but got an enclosed trailer. $1,200 OBO. Clear Title. Might entertain a partial trade for guns or whatever. 702-568-1547 Thanks for looking!
  4. I haven't changed springs yet, but was thinking about the progressive springs (Makin Trax). Now you've got me thinking about these. Were the Makin Trax springs the ones you were referring to that your buddy had?
  5. Looking for an old metal washing machine tub. Thanks, Chris 702-568-1547 PLEASE DELETE. Thanks!
  6. That looks great. Nice and clean. I am going to try and make something similar. If I ever get the time!
  7. Nice video. Gotta get up there next year.
  8. Thanks for the info guys. The truck ended up at Baca's. Total rebuild. Hopefully it will all work out. They came recommended by a neighbor. Sucks having to take it to a shop. I usually try and do all my own stuff, but auto trans are a little ( ok a lot ) over my head.
  9. Need to get some work done on my 02 Dodge 2500 auto trans. Anybody have any recs. here in Henderson? Thanks.
  10. Great effort guys. Nice to see folks stepping up to the plate and taking care of things. As someone else mentioned above, this needs to get some press. Anybody know anyone at any of the newspapers or off road mags that they could forward this to?
  11. Well I managed to get the old out and now cant get the new one in. It is stuck about 3/4 in and wont budge. In or out. Next time I think I am gonna let a shop do it. What a pain!
  12. Anybody have any hints for removing a lower ball joint on my 02 Dodge 2500 4x4? I have put a ball joint press on it as tight as it will go and it won't budge. I would take a cutting torch to it, but don't have one. I am not diggin this front end. Use to work on heavy trucks and have never seen anything this stubborn! Thanks in advance. Chris 702-568-1547
  13. I guess it might have seemed like a good idea at the time. That is UGLY!
  14. Caterpillar eat your heart out!
  15. I have a 2010 RZRs and love it as well. I got it based on things I had read about them and the recommendation of my Brother in law who has a Rhino. I think the thing I like most is the versatility. You can do the desert, dunes or whatever. I took by other Brother in law (lomg term bike guy) out in it and he was impressed with it as well. Defintely a neat vehicle with a lot options available.
  16. Looks good. My Brother in law has one of their cages on his Rhino and it looks well made. The RZRs look so much better with a flat cage.
  17. A HUD system for goggles. Prettty Cool, but I didn't see the laser designator so you call in an air strike on the occasional obnoxious camp.
  18. It is a diesel. I can do the filter myself, but would like to change out all of the fluid that is in the torque converter as well. Thanks for the tip on Georges Cole. BTW what is going to be the theme on your next 70?
  19. Hey guys, I could use some recommendations. I need to have the front end of my 02' Ram 2500 4x4 aligned and I am also looking for some place that can do the auto trans fluid exchange. Thanks in advance. Chris

When I took all of my safety stickers off, I used a hair dryer (less chance of a screw-up !) and Goof Off. WD-40 will work as well. Final clean up with Denatured Alchohol. Just go slow and you should be fine!
  21. That place looks amazing! Time for a road trip!
  22. That is a neat idea. Will have to check it out next time I can get out there.
  23. I know the RAM mounts are expensive, but they sure work good. I have run some big units on bass boats and the RAM mounts work great.
  24. Thanks. I have been using an old percolator which works ok, but thought I might try something different.
