  1. What? I know too many 1600 class racers that run the same motor and box all season. 1600 is cheaper to run than Class 9. Good luck with your class but I do not see it around in a few years. If the Mini-Mags couldn't make it there is no way a Golf Cart class will prevail.
  2. A helicopter can't fly that slow!
  3. I don't get 5/1600's unless you are so large you need that door to get in. For $30k you can get a nice, slightly used 1/2 1600 and race with the absolute best.
  4. I'd start with the permits and insurance first. The former will be the toughy when it comes to the sewer or septic permit.
  5. Yes, there is one and a little store there too all part of a trailer park. Tony's is right across from the airstrip on Highway 78. I am plannig my trip now. I think I'll take the shortcut through Cima, Kelso and Amboy. I am getting used to driving the new Moho.
  6. "The Pennant" in Mission Beach is also cool. "Goat Hill" in Costa Mesa for the beer variety but definatly many notches down to the clientele in NPB bars. "The Field" www.thefield.com in SD Gaslamp is very cool as well. I'll be tipping a few there in about 3 weeks.
  7. That can all be handled via proper insurance and liability waivers.
  8. Speaking of OW. Our annual Chili Cookoff happens on 4/1 at Mota Ranch in OW. Tony Mota runs the OHV repair shop and store at OW and his place is near the corner of Split Mountain Road and Old Kane Springs Road. 9. 'Zact same idea. P have never figured out why Wheeler's does not do this. They have a ton of land.
  10. My next business will be in RV Storage and Prep. With all these zero lot line parcels and homes filling them wall to wall in the valley the days if RV parking at the casa is history for the strong majority. How about a deal where you show up off Blue Diamond Road or Pahrump and your rig is ready, the right tanks full and your shopping list "shoped" with the fridge and coolers full?
  11. I have a new Toshitbox Tecra. Avoid this P.O.S. It was issued at work. I am looking for an unsuspecting underling to hand it down too soon. The thing is loaded, top of the line and is way slower than my old Dell 8200. It really chokes on graphics apps like Photoshop. Junk junk junk!
  12. Without question.... BLACKIES BY THE SEA, Newport Beach, CA See www.blackies.org The Iron Door is a good runner up.
  13. How is the RV parking up at Logandale? I have a big rig, 65' total with trailer. Also, are there open, easy area for the little kids to ride around in? Thanks
