  1. Great work guys. Now if I could get out there to take a look at it.
  2. We pulled up there and parked behind them. They took off after about 5 minutes and I think they headed up to the North Pole.
  3. Pretty sad what they did. Our kids really enjoy the ride to the North Pole to check it out. Hope some day these guys will learn that it doesn't make you a "cool or tough dude" to destroy a mailbox.
  4. We found it too this past weekend. Looks great guys.
  5. We rode out there Saturday morning and what a surprise to see it that way. When we got there, some guys in a buggys pulled up at the same time. We saw beer and the spray cans on the ground around the pole. We picked the stuff up and the guys in the buggys said they haul the trash out for us. We did find the new South Pole, I'll post picture of it tomorrow.
  6. Welcome to DDR MidKnight. :shocked2: Enjoy the sandbox. :mc_smiley:
  7. Great job guys, looks awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. I don't have a problem with gas odors in mine either. Plus, I don't keep my quads in the RV all the time, only when I'm heading out the desert. I figure that when I'm driving out, I'll keep the air moving in the garage area just incase something were to happen. Plus, the wife keep a lot of smell good stuff all over the RV
  9. I wouldn't roll the quads on top the carpet, just because is something does leak, it won't ruin the carpet. The flooring they use in the garage area is pretty good stuff, just wipe the spill up and go.
  10. That's a very nice rig Ross. Does WW offer that unit without the garage? Since you have 5 quads, you'll need something without a garage. I like our garage, but we only have 3 quads. Our garage is 12' long so it can fit our 3 quads, 3 coolers, and all our riding gear and tools. I keep the inside door closed when towing and open the roof vent to let any gas/oil smell out.
  11. Let me ask the group where they wish to camp. We kind of like our DSD.com camp site but you never know what will happen. If we don't camp together, we'll at least come over for some and a BIG GROUP ride.
  12. I'll be there with some of the DumontSandDunes.com peeps.
  13. You're right Bob, we made the North Pole run Sunday afternoon. I can't believe someone would do this to the North Pole. If you need any help getting it fix, let me know, I'll be glad to help out.
  14. Here's a map of the restrooms for you guys. Hope it helps.
  15. A friend of mine turned me on to Maker's Mark, decent sippin Whiskey.
  16. We should be out there on the 4th through the 8th and again MLK weekend. I think we'll park in the normal DSD.com area (E-3 on Bob's map) for the 4th through the 8th and hit the Little Dunes for MLK weekend.
  17. I'm also guilty of dumping my grey water in the dunes. I have 70 gallons of grey water (two 35 gallon tanks) in my rig, one in front and one in back. I try to dump mine in the cover of darkness or early in the morning. Dig a deep enough hole, 2 to 3 feet deep, crack the tanks, and let them slowly drip for about an hour. Once there empty, fill in the hole and you'll never know I dumped the grey water.
  18. I can only fit 4 quads in my 5th wheel due to the 12' garage, the rest is living space.
  19. Happy T-Day to you all, have a safe and happy one :mc_smiley:
  20. Congrats on the new addition to your family!!!!
  21. Man Bob, don't you have a job? Oh yea, I know who you work for......
  22. I'm thinking of getting the Edge set up on mine. I already have a Gibson 4" (cat-back) exhaust so I just need to add a little get-up-and-go to the engine. Check out www.thedieselplace.com for more information on D-Max stuff.
  23. I'll be pulling in early Thursday morning.
  24. I guess you can't really tell how rough they are from the pictures. You can say I'm getting to be an old fat guy that likes the smooth stuff. Back in the day, it didn't matter, but now days I don't recover as fast as I use too.
