  1. we like using the hickory wood chips; we find the mesquite chips to be a bit too much.

Also, we like the flavor that we get when we substitute water with soda. Gives it a sweet sticky glazed effect. We buy the store brand 2 liters for that...orange is what works for us on our baby backs :hungry:

The fun thing is to just experiment...see what worksfor ya :thumb:

  2. forgive me if I'm wrong, but I remember watching an episode of monster garage with a feller by the same name...wouldn't happen to be you, would it? I've been wondering for a year now, and I just had to finally ask :dunno:

  3. 1969 Plymouth roadrunner 426 hemi, 4 speed was "it" for me. Still would love to have one but way to much $$ for one now.

    Terry

That's one of the few non-GM 60's era cars I would own. Beautiful cars.

Also happens to be the only other car I like in orange...

That's the car, in blue, that got my momma to take a look at my daddy :driver::laughing:

  4. Good idea for a thread :thumb:

My dad used to race Angleas back in the day, when straight axles were cool...I mean the first time they were cool  I've seen a lot of muscle; but ever since high school, I've been jonesin for a '40 or'41 Willy's outlaw body, blown...of course, pro street/tubbed or as a cruiser/tuckin big diameter rims(eitherway), but definately with a low stance ( no straight axle up front for mine) .

Maybe something like this pic I found:

  5. I can tell ya what not to get...

I picked one up for my 35 footer. A wireless one from pep boys. Camera mounts to the license plate frame. It was under a hundred bucks, but it is CRAP! Not very clear/a lot of static. It is rated "up to" 40', but no bueno

  6. IMG_2380.jpg

hit by a drunk driver on the way to glamis

    oh man; that sucks.

I was hit by an asian driver on my last trip to glamis :freakin_nuts: Rich kid...bmw... :assblast:

Nothing compared to yours...sorry to hear

  7. Its a really nice maintained track, back area of the course has a straight away for drag races. Noe the barn or the aka party shack rocks, work area, coaches TVs ping pong tables the owners are killerly cool. You could ride this track all day and have a blast every lap.

We depart for Duffyland in 1/2 we will see you there. Did i forget to mention free camping for this event? the night life is a blast as well,

    Nice video.

Now I have got to get my 70 finished up... :headbang1:

  8. Did you keep the pullstarter from the stock 70? You should be able to mount that up. It wont look as cool as a jockey stick kick tho...

Unfortunetly, the 70 I picked up didn't have one; it was missing, or else heck ya, I would mount that up. That's kinda the whole reason I did the swap. It was 75 bucks to get a used one, or 275 for a whole new, much larger, motor :yiah:

In fact, I ended up selling my old motor for $100, so 275-100 = 175 vs. 75... :P no brainer, for a c- note, I got a lifan :yiah:

  9. Get the 22mm carb. Runs much better with that on there instead of the 20mm. Also get the big UBI filter http://dratv.com/po12.html

You'll need the manifold turnout and might need to "massage" your fuel tank just a bit.

    also...

    Fuel line and filter(s)

Randog bar riser- every cool atc needs one

    exhuast

Some sort of custom battery tray

    starter switch and kill switch

shifter and wider peg set from http://hondaatc70.com The peg set isn't on their site, but contact Gordon. He'll get you set up. http://hondaatc70.com/contactus.aspx

    and a DDR sticker

There will be several orders placed through DR ATV once you get going and realize you need this little thing and that little thing so be prepared. haha

Here's my build thread is you need some ideas...

:yiah: How did I forget that on my parts list :dope:

  10. been thinking about getting a lifan for my 70 how hard is the swap? pretty much just bolt up or anything new fabbed or special parts needed ?

The 125 bolts right in, as Pete said. I bought a "pit bike" exhaust, so I have a little fab to do on that front. Also, there's no way I'm cutting my brand new fenders, so I'm gonna fab up a "jockey stick" kickstarter. That's going to be about it, as far as the swap goes I believe.

  11. I occationally haul my Rhino in my short bed truck and the rear wheels ride on the tail gate like you see in the picture. You may already do this but I hade a little stand to take the weight off the tail gate bsy putting it on the bed section Wood block would work too instead of the stand.

I jack it up just a tad and place the stand under the frame to elininate boucging all the weight on the tail gate. Then snug it down with nylon ties.

    :old:

That's a great idea Pat :beercheers:

The last thing I'd want to see is my tailgate all jacked up over trying to save a few bucks

  12. Awesome. Thanks fellas. I'm looking at a smokin deal on one, but it's in texas; so I wanted to check if it'd fit, and make sure I wouldn't need to tug a trailer if I win it.

    :beercheers:

  13. Can anyone in the razor family do me a huge favor? I need to get stock dimensions: width @ the tires( or widest point, the length from the front leading edge to the center of the rear tires, and the overall length.

I'm looking at one, but I'd have to travel for it quite a distance. I'm trying to calculate what size of vehicle I need to get it home. :driver: Any chance it would fit in a dually long bed pickup?
