  1. as soon as the b & j rearend is done! need to mount radiator,drysump tank,need a horn mount,mirror mounts, & off to powdercoat hopefully by mid december! in the sand by mid jan.

  3. 1st car red v8rail overhead cam cobra motor 2365 lb wasnt sure if the car worked well when i had it built but i liked the concept of strong drive train so i went with it! (worked great in the dunes! 2nd car v8rail started and almost finished and gave to another costomer to build t-rex 3rd car v8rail t-rex started out natuarally aspirated 521 bb ford 3600lbs 700hp. ran good but just not fast enough for the hill! wanted to shut the mouths of people who said my tank would never be fast on the hill! added turbos and then it ran good enough for me! 4th car v-rex coming soon!!!!!! 572 cid brodex t.t. i want the car to be around 3000 lbs but if not no big deal! as long as it is under 3500lbs i will be happy. and for pics www.v8rail.com 1st car razor ripper (new owner name) 2nd chocolate color 3rd t-rex and 4th car v-rex

  5. i didnt know it was ugly from the back of the car! i didnt know roost was so ugly!
  6. t rex is getting a overhaul on the motor! shawn the new owner wanted to make the motor built for turbos! when i owned the car @ first it was naturally aspirated. Fun car but a little heavy for the amount power it had. So i went ahead and added turbos to it without changing no internals on the motor just tuning! the car worked great lots of power but there was always a concern about the bottom end of the motor holding up, so i couldnt turn the boost up if i wanted to race someone on the hill! now it will have a strong bottom end so the green machine should run a little harder next season. it will be interesting t rex vs. v rex.
  7. the motor is 572 cid it made 718 hp @ the crank with carb for breakin! we will run around 20lbs of boost! it will run pretty hard if the motor stays together. this car will have front and rear sway bars for better cornering. with a very low ctr of gravity and all the mass of weight between the wheels should be a fun car!
  8. did you figure out why the frame broke! looked to me like a bad design.i dont think it matters if someone changed the motor on your car to a 50lb or 100lb heavier motor just a poor design with just 2 down tubes holding everthing up! if you like to go fast in the dunes i suggest buying heavier built car! when you have a thin wall chromoly chassis you get alot flex & chromoly does not like to flex. it starts to crack,& then your motor almost falls out!

  10. i need those tires for my car! i have a real traction problem.tires spin 140 mph and car never catches up unless i am going to the little dunes! but then maybe stuff will start to break!

  12. i will see ya out there on with some friends from utah. he has a twin turbo grand national motor real fast! big bird will be very excited!
