We came in around 10:30 Thursday night... Not a ranger to be found... Bought a pass from the machine and it wouldn't print it out... Rode to the rangers station at like 9am to show them the cc transaction and get a pass and they were actually pretty nice... In fact they seemed a little frustrated with the machines being broken... Story was that they had been worked on over Christmas and were still broken so that's what the deal with cash for passes was this weekend... All that being said they did harass several members of our camp that were trickling in late Friday after work with the dog... Who knows anymore these days

So excited I'm going to jump out of my skin!!! Just a few more hours of work... Eeeeeee!!!!ð

I'm afraid it'll never come clean again... Just discovered that with the offset tires it flings mud and rocks at the back of your head... Utah was a much messier affair than the dunes lol

Agreed... It gives me a sick feeling to know that one of my favorite summer places is burning to the ground... They were saying its making its way toward redrock... I'm praying it doesn't migrate all the way to cold creek :'(

People are probably still golfing there I would imagine, even with the ash and poor air quality? Yes... Not many but a few die hards are out here trying to make themselves sick Can't even see the mountain at the moment People have been coming up with nosebleeds, sore throat, and headaches all day

It's super sad... I work at the golf resort just past the mt charleston exit... All the greens are covered in ash...
