Had a blast! Holy cow this new to me car is awesome! The sand was soft but I liked it even though it was making my car hard to steer and get used to. Lines were sketch as he** but no tracks anywhere so that made up for it. I thought I was a goner when I flew off one 8' ledge, good thing there was no bowl or witches eye, it was still a hard landing but I just floored it and the car soaked it up pretty good. I couldn't be happier! I jumped it over and over, drove it hard, dropped the clutch, pulled a few wheelies, red lined it a few times.... it just kept going strong. Man this year is going to be BAD A$$!!! I gave Pete my Go Pro SD card and cant wait to see the video! I also cant wait to see all the other pics of me throwing the front end up as far as it could go.

Fastony let me know if you need any help picking out your new rail Good seeing and meeting everyone, as always the DDR people are friendly and fun.

We are meeting at 3:50am at the gas station on Blue Diamond & Charleston, leaving at 4am. Look for big white Kodiak that says Underground Diesel on it and I will be pulling two sand rails.

12-15mi per hour winds are nothing. Wont hardly feel it when duning and will be nice for when we stop. I use full face/head covers and sand goggles, never had a issue. I just loaded my car onto the trailer and will go pick up Petes car in a bit. Stay tuned for a bad a$$ pic!

We will have lots of buggies out at Dumont tomorrow! See you guys out there!

I'm not sure about the whole pass thing of when they are good or not. You never know who will be out there and I don't want any issues or problems so I'll just cover the bases and have all passes up to date and visible.

Picked this one up for $20K 2007 Rear Engine hardly used, Paint excellent, Engine and wiring clean, Aluminum block 5.7L LS1 410hp, New Paddles and Razors, Spare set of dirt tires/wheels, FOX coil overs, True long travel, MD4S-2D trans, 4140 Chromo 930 axles, 930 CVs with Chromo cages, 5 seater with excellent interior, Billet parts through out. I have been looking for awhile, I mstly was looking for something well taken care of, stored inside and not abused. To me that adds a lot of value. I have put some $$ into it already on preventative maintenance. It should be very reliable and I was def after that too.

Sunday it is! Yes we can bring the 10x20 Pete! My suggestion for the guys with no paddles is to come anyways and play around on the small dunes and desert area. There is lots of places to ride out there and not just the dunes. If someone gets stuck we will have enough guys to get anyone out. I just finished throwing my paddles on! New air filter, new fluids, new CVs. She should be good! I cant wait! Ill be spending most of tomorrow getting ready. Ill bring a Yeti full of water for everyone but bring water and food! If you not familiar with the dunes please ask question, anyone who is experienced will gladly help and answer. I will be pulling out of the last gas station on Blue Diamond and Charleston at 4am and no later. We can meet there. Please allow time to fuel up if needed. My good good buddy Mike that works the front desk in my shop had a bad accident and lost the use of his legs. Its amazing to watch him ride his quad at Dumont. We used to bungee cord his legs to the 4 wheeler but he finally broke down and bought foot nets thank goodness. Hes a crazy dude. Full throttle all the time. I would like to share your info with him and maybe he could one day do stem cell therapy too.

Chased a bunch of block numbers down today and it seams the motor in my car is a 01' ls1 with the stronger ls6 aluminum block and it came from Turn Key and is the 410hp motor they supply. I was pretty happy with that. My buddy is trying to talk me into a cam and heads.. LOL I bet 550hp is fun. Maybe later ill get to find out.

Just my opinion and 2c I bought a SXS years ago and loved it but always wanted a rail just didn't have the $$$$. It bugged me that I couldn't fit very good in a SXS and when the fam was with me we were squished and the SXS lost all its power. Few years ago I bought my first turbo VW rail and was hooked. Now im on my third rail which is 5 seater long travel 400hp and I can not wait to dune! I like SXS and they have came along ways but just not for me. I like to have room. I like power with the family in the vehicle.

I might be in for a early early morning trip one weekend Adam, if something gets set up let me know. As of now ill be going to the Flagstaff Cinders Aug 28-31 then ill be going to Dumont with Pete Oct 24-26 then possibly Oct 30-31 for a quick trip. I have a diesel dyno event at my shop Nov 1st I have to get ready for. We will have several 1000hp plus diesels at the shop throwing down for the most power trying to win some cash and prizes. Everyone is welcome to come watch, it will be all day long 2595 west post rd suite c 89119. Sema is Nov 3rd-7th so ill be there all week. Jeep Rock Crawling event Nov 7th-9th we are sponsoring so ill be there those few days in Logandale. After the 9th ill sleep till the 11th then be ready to dune again!!!!

Picked her up today! Looks and feels like very good quality and HAULS A$$. Love the V8 sound and torque. Man I cant wait to take her to Dumont! I have the new aluminum roof in my truck, I just need to drill the holes and install it and I need to throw some light bars on it. What a big change 200hp to 400hp!!!
