This is my first trip up that way has anyone been this early in the season? Hopefully it wont be extremely cold or crazy weather. I will post pics when I get back. I am still debating on wheather to take the buggy or the rhino not sure what kind of place it is. I have seen other people have taken buggys is this the best way to go? dunefreak Posted April 21, 2010 Share Posted April 21, 2010 A buggy would be much more fun than a Rhino up there. I have seen people have tons of fun in Rhinos on the trails, but remember the sand is pretty soft in most areas and the elevation is high which means less power. I'd take the buggy. I will post pics when I get back. ditto with "Freak" Quads are great there, Rhinos, not enough flotation/HP in general. small rails good, big ones can be fun but terrain is dangerous if your driving too fast!!!! The weather was perfect for relaxing and a little riding. Took the kids on a ride to check out the dinosaur tracks here's some picks. The trail to see the tracks. Dead Cow Sweet? Great weekend.
