How do you get there...

Still planning my first trip, and watching Youtube videos isn't helping.

I have seen there are two main ways to hit the sand from Vegas Area. I am coming from North Vegas, Just so you know.

I am towing just an Echo 2 space trailer so I hit 70-75 max.

215 to Durango

Durango to 160

160 to Tecopa

Tecopa to the 127

Or you can go the back way to Pahrump, it is longer but easier

I15 is easiest and allows for a stop if you need one in Baker. You should have cel service most of the way as well.

160>Tecopa (Old Spanish Trail Hwy) is the fastest route which is the way I go most of the time.

thanks guys... the Old Spanish trail way was my favorite in looking. I think for the trip back I have to stop for gas so I might hit baker for that.

I can't wait till i can go. Trying to get my lame friends to get off their a$$es. Guess i need new friends.

You can also go 127 to Shashone, to Pahrump, then to Amargosa Valley. It is the longest way, but is very easy and will allow for gas stop. I personally take to 5 gallon cans in the bed gas and just pour them in before I head back.

That's the way we go back. There's a dump station right there in Indian Springs and the little market there has freaking awesome chicken!!
