Yeah I know. It's because I was trying out the "narrow" FOV setting. On medium or wide you can see much more but I forgot to set it back. I'll be experimenting with it tonight on a ride.

Looks like a great time. Wish we could have gone but for once in my life I decided to chose priorities over duning. Going in for the 4th though. Should be fun

Awesome pics Pete! Your second gopro shot is the spot brendan crashed into the rocks at the bottom right of the photo. It took be about 40 minutes to get the bike out. I felt like you did after your Hog Canyon ride :)

Just wait till you see some of the video. I want to go back really bad now. It has me jonesing.

I havent even seen any of the videos yet and I wanna go back! Question is Pete, will you attempt Hog Canyon again?

It's not that is was too difficult to do again, but I'm ok with the been there/ done that attitude. We'll explore other areas next trip. ;)

Here's the first video. I think this was our 2nd run when Mike broke down half way through. Because of the length I couldn't upload it in HD but it looks decent enough. Hopefully I have some some more good footage to make a couple more.

how was that chesty and camera mounted??

I ended up mounting the gopro upside down on the chesty so I could point it up and out more. I set up the straps so the camera hangs just below nipple height, and tightened as much as I could.

I tried videoing with the Chesty last time we were at Coral and it was too chopped and the video wasn't really usable so that is better then I what I got in the end.

Hopefully I will be able to make it back up there soon. wish I could have gone this trip. :(

It was mounted the way it was intended I guess. Mike was standing quite a bit off the seat so it was pointed down a little too much, but not too bad for our first test run with it.
