Going to bring a big group that have never been to Dumont and am worried about the wind. Anyone been out in April that can comment on the wind situation? Seems to be a little more wind as the weather is changing out there but have had some of our best trips that time of year. sandmandan Posted November 30, 2013 Share Posted November 30, 2013 We have been there the last 5 Aprils. Total of about 35 days. I would say about 10 where shade and/or A/C felt good. Most were perfect. We had about 5 days of terrible wind, in the afternoons. Mostly it is good. The sand is great, and there is never many people there. We will be there again this year. Say hello...
