Well - After 10 years of quads - decided to make the jump to a SXS. Looked at RZR, Artic Cat, Kawasaki and Can-Am. Being 6'4" 300 plus, most of my fight was just getting and out of the damn car... So after looking and trying to climb in/out i was most comfortable in the Can-Am Commander 1000 X. Plus the second biggest issue was price. From your basic RZR 1000 XP to the 4 seat - and all the rest - prices from $14K to $25K depending on what you wanted also had an impact on the choice. So at the end of the day with Fox shocks, lots of travel and lots of room and $14K OTD, the Commander 1000 X was the one we put on the trailer..... Looking to hitting Dumont in the next few weeks to get this thing in the sand..... Thx SP2 Mike

On a side note, I have dozens of used 20 and 30' straps. next roundup if anyone wants one let me know. They are not NEARLY as compact as the above mentioned but they will pull a DP and stacker out no problem

not that important really, i was more curious as to what the price was....i am running rebel comp fuel (100 oct) and it costs $7.00/gal, it is always good to know your options.

Took a little road trip with some really good friends on Sunday, to the Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge and then up to the Extraterrestrial Highway.. I got a chance to see a beautiful Bald Eagle at the refuge. In all my travels, I had never seen one in the wild before. We had lunch by the lake and he decided to pull up a tree and join us...
