  1. When you look at the bad accidents and fatalities that have happened at Dumont, they are almost always very easily preventable. Usually it's just one simple mistake that was made like not wearing safety gear or making a very bad judgement call. With the season upon us, we could all use some safety tip refreshers so let's get a list going. Always have a spotter when jumping in areas where you don't have a clear, wide open view of your landing. This goes for everyone. Stay alert and stay alive this season, everyone! They may sound redundant, but these things should never be overlooked or forgotten about. I'll be making sure these are posted on our social media pages as well.

  5. It is very sad to learn about a fellow dune patron losing their life in an accident. It is amazing how tight the dune community is and how we all feel the loss with out personally knowing the victim. As a whole we do support one another. It is by knowledge and caring for these unfortunate events that further prevent them from happening. It is also what brings us closer together when it comes to standing up for our right to offroad because we all know that each and every person that has lost there life in an offroad accident would not have changed a thing and if the shoe was on the other foot they would be supporting one of us. I like everyone else am extremely sorry for your loss and hope that someday it becomes easier.

  8. We will be there October 28 - November 2. getting some play time in before the vending begins. Make sure to come by and check out GTP Off Road's new vending trailer and set up and we will have even more products this year then last. We will be vending Friday - Sunday for certain and possibly Thursday. Of course we will be handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters as well! I will most definitely be putting a "cheat meal" in the bank for Beefy Boys biscuits and gravy for breakfast one of those mornings! MMMMM.....
