  1. I heard from a guy who heard from a guy that another guy put something together out at Dumont. “Veterans hill”. For those curious. There is a new destination at Dumont dunes dedicated to the men and women who selflessly served our country and those who never made it home. Nobody really knows who’s responsible but rumor is they are part of our great nations warriors as well as big influences in the community both on and off road , they have promised to make veterans hill a worthwhile travel destination within the dunes. The location is undisclosed but it’s said that “you’ll know it when you see it”. Have also been told there’s a fantastic large dune with many small dunes surrounding the area making for a great spot to have fun.

  2. Wanted to start a thread about what vendors will be out. Vendors or anyone with knowledge of vendors coming out please post up. I like to know who's going to be there so I can plan a meal, buy some gear, etc and help support those who come out.

  5. Took a day trip to get in a quick sand fix. Came out Friday 9/27 leaving early to get some breakfast in Baker before heading out for some sand therapy. Got to the entrance road around 9 and let me tell you the summer has not been kind to that road at all. After all the change and everything that was in the cup holders rattled out all over everywhere, we made it in and started unloading. The temp was awesome at 9 and started getting warmer. It wasn't until the 2pm mark where things started getting pretty warm. There was a ton of growth all through the dunes, around on the flats and anywhere water could settle enough to grown plants. Those summer dunes were soft in places and there were ledges, drop offs, and witch eyes everywhere!!! Just about impossible to get a real flow and find any good lines. But being in the sand was worth all of it!!

  6. Guys. I was never going to go alone, especially with my family. So, no one goes out in August 🤔🤔. Just 10 days ago, in Dubai we had a 75 car convoy in 120 degrees weather, just sayin 😁. Just kidding, I know the tolerance for heat out there is different; it is above 90 for most of the year. Anyway, my question is, when the season is here, do you guys arrange regular convoys for some extreme riding. And again, is all the extreme riding here with wheelers/buggies, or do you do that with Wranglers, FJ's, and similar as well. Thanks
