Hi Ya Pat !! Yep we always park out there just a little farther down. Less traffic, less dust and lots of entertainment.

They checked mostly the flat bed trailers loaded with bikes coming in, All day Friday we only saw them check one enclosed trailer, they handcuffed those guys for over an hour as they searched the trailer and wrote tickets for the 2 guys. Each one got maybe 5 tickets each and each from a different cop. The cops also had their clips boards checking VIN #'s as the dog was walking around the truck & trailer. VERY interesting watching from above them with the binoculars !

Pat, nope not going to happen for a long time the way things are going. They sent Charlie to Billings, Montana for the last 2 months and he told me last night he is headed to Sidney, Montana (pretty close to Canada/North Dakota borders) It may be a permanent deal, who knows. If it stays this way who knows I may just go too.

We do pretty good but like Terry, we are older than some, our kids are grown & gone so it's just Charlie & I. He is worse than 5 kids though. We traded up every couple years which turned out to be a good thing, he is now living in our hauler in Northern Nevada for work gotta go where the money is. Down side, no dunes for the near future. We used to go 7 out of 8 weeks just because we could. Life changes is all. ALSO I'm extremely tight with money, buy only what I need not want. I like to have stashes. Hubby knows it's there just not where. Save where and when you can. Buy only what you need save the rest, then you'll have the $$$$$ for what you truely want.

Great seeing the people we got to see. Just drove out to say hello with no bikes. Only got a couple hours out there before Charlie got called back to town. Maybe another time?

Yes I got the call, but really couldn't do anything since Hubby is in Elko working so it's hard to do anything about it, he is working 7 days a week 10-12 hr days. Mechanic on the semi's hauling the gold ore out of Newmont Mine. His regular work plus kind of on call at the same time? When second shift needs help. I have his number so if Charlie can work it out some how maybe give him a call.
