  1. Yea, I'm in Hesperia. I'm hoping the clay will work.
  2. Does anybody know how to remove paint overspray from a trucks paint. I had stained my fence a while back with a sprayer and apparently got some overspray on my neighbors white truck. Of course he waited like 3 months to tell me about it but non the less it's my fault and I want to fix it. I have read a lot about people using a clay bar with some sort of lubricant. Has anybody ever tried it, and if so how did it work? Is there something easier? I would appreciate any feed back.
  3. I don't have that bad boy but I do have a Blackberry, and I know the only programs that I can uninstall are the ones that I added. When I try to remove one of the factory installed programs I get a message similar to what your getting. I can't even remove any of the ring tones that the manufacture installs.
  4. Thanks for all the great info. I knew that if I asked that question on here I would get great advice. :rainbow1:
  5. Has anyone on here that lives in CA. have or tried to get a concealed weapons permit. How easy? or difficult? I work in some real questionable areas and a co-worker buddy of mine just got robbed the other day at knife point by some crackhead. I would rather be the guy who brought a gun to a knife fight. :freakin_nuts:
  6. I actually just let my class B go about a year ago. I had to get it for my old job and didn't need it any more. I thought the only reason you had to get a class B is because you were driving a 2 or 3 axle truck without a trailer and the truck had air brakes. I never looked that deep into it, I just know I needed it. The reason I let it go is because my brother in law who has all the endorsements for Cali except the passanger one said that as a commercial driver you are no longer allowed to go to traffic school. So I had no problem letting that go, especially since getting a seatbelt ticket is now a moving violation. :freakin_nuts:
  7. I have watched the show a few times, and like most have said, the riding is cool. I just can't stand the tough guy mentality from these 5 foot 120 pounders. And I really can't stand that tall guy who keeps talking about how he used to ride with all these guys "back in the day". Come on now, you couldn't keep up with them then so what makes you think you could hang now. In my opinion they're just a bunch of t.v. tough guys. Good riders though, but thats about it.
  8. Sorry to hear about your loss. To respond to your question about the chocolate lab though, pick up a penny saver. We got our white lab out of it from a house in Phelan that had a litter by mistake. No papers but both parents on the premises. There is always a bunch in that area. I think we waited like 3 weeks before we saw something that caught our eye. Just thought I would help out a fellow high desert local, good luck in your search. And remember when you do get a new puppy and go to get the shots, ask for the puppy package. It saves you a bunch of money and they never offer it but most places up here have it. And once again sorry for the loss of your freind.
  9. Oh well, I thought I had to cut the wires and connect them. I figure what the hell it's embarassing enough to ride that little thing anyway, why not make it look like I stole it and start it with a screwdriver. Anyway thanks again for the info, at least if I lose key to the raptor or something I can fix it the white way. I mean the right way. And once again
  10. I was going to do that after reading your post, but them my eye caught a hammer and flat head screwdriver on the bench. I figure what the hell. If I was going to cut wires anyway I might as well see if I could break it free. Sure enough after the 2nd hit and a little muscle it turned. But thanks anyway for the info.
  11. I own a 2004 yamaha ttr 125 that we use for camping and getting the mail and stuff. We lost the keys and I was wondering if there was a way to bypass the key or would I have to go to yamaha and try and get a new one. I am willing to muscle it to the on position with a screw driver if I thought it would work. If anyone has any advice let me know, it would be greatly appreciated cause I'm assuming that trying to get a new key would be a pain in the a$$. I'm getting tired of walking 4 houses down the street to get the mail. It's hot out.
  12. If you drive a rhino in the dunes and see someone coming, just go to the bottom of the hill and stop.
  13. George Thouroughgood = I drink alone, Bad to the bone, 1 burban 1 scotch and 1 beer.
  14. I also use the pro grip goggles like ynot with the light sensitive lens. There not to bright during the day and perfect at dusk for the ride back to camp. The best part is that no matter how windy it is or if I get roosted sand doesnt seem to get thru these bad boys.

    Paris Hilton

I think she got caught driving on a suspended license. :freakin_nuts:
  16. I think it means "I don't know"
  17. Thanks for the options. I was actually looking for a place down in Rancho. I'm not sure about some of these high desert mechanics and I haven't lived here long enough to find a good one. Randy, I have heard about that place, I think Jerry from Rancho auto told me about them. At least this happened when the dune season was pretty much over.
  18. I have a 2001 chevy 1500 z71 and the transmission started to slip today. It will shift into overdrive but as soon as you hit the gas it revs up and then downshifts. It also slips a little in the lower gears. I got it home and don't want to drive it and cause further damage. Has anyone had this problem and if they have about how much did it cost to repair? Would it be cheaper to just buy a rebuilt tranny?
  19. Agreed. That guy has his crew work like 35+hours and gets pissed when they start wanting to eat and rest. Super hardcore fisherman
  20. Wow, and I thought the pictures were bad. The video is way worse. I think I remember when you guys were talking about it on here that someone said that the company was going to build him a new car. Did that ever happen?
  21. you put the L bracket on the outside of the box and screw it to the floor. thats also how i have mine. if someone wants to steal it they will but it stops it from moving around in the vehicle.
  22. if you just lost the extinguisher and not the bracket then you should be fine with any 2 1/2 pounder. those are the one i think your describing. And I remember when you and Chris went ot see him. Thats all Chris would talk about. I would love to go. I think I'll have to look into it. Verizon is the one in Irvine right?
  23. Hey Randy, if you cant get that one back have your brother give me a call. My girlfriends dad ownes an extinguisher business and he can get you whatever you need. By the way. When and where is the Roger Waters concert?
  24. My buddy has 1 of those on his truck. Its crazy loud. I think the whole set up was like $400.
  25. I got mine at pep boys or something for like $300. Its a Colmen powermate 3500 or something. Its loud as all hell but it runs everything in the trailer including the air conditioning. If you just need a good generator thats cheap and not quiet thats the way to go. I have had it for at least 5 years and it wont die.
