  1. I traded out labor on Mikes engine rebuild for all the long travel stuff..Got the +4 Dominator axle with the parts i got from my buddy to begin with..Pete if you or Chad ever decide to build a YFZ OR Rappy 700 im in..Just let me know
  2. Got bored and picked up another frame. Built a Junkyard Dog long travel YFZ450..Everything was either bought on Central, Tech, or Ebay:lol My friend wanted to do a frame up build and started buying parts. I think he realized it was more work that he was willing to do so I bought what he had purchased from him and got started. Painted the frame Candy Red with a multi color red flake Bought a bunch of parts and built a 04,05,06,07 Pump Gas Engine:lol Cut my Kickstart Harness Started Final Assembly
  3. Its pretty sad there are only a few pic submissions and now only a few people can take the time out of there day to vote on it. Dont really get it..
  4. Im not going. Its not what it used to be..Last time I went the turnout wasnt that good
  5. Im always down for a quick trip...Plus I just got my green YFZ back together Wouldnt mine taking it out for a quick ride too
  6. I wear the bear minimum. Helmet/Goggles/Gloves.. I know i should wear more i just never have. I hate wearing mx boots. Maybe i need to look at the newer stuff. My old Alpinestars felt like lead boots. I need something lighter and more comfortable..Most of the other stuff i really have no reason for not wearing. I used to have riding pants and jerseys i just stopped wearing them. After my little cliff jump i was thinking what would have been different if i was wearing more gear. Probably my ankle, and the scratches on my knee would have been avoided. I probably will look into getting some boots...Baby Steps lol
  7. Ive never seen anything like that either. Usually there are big bathtubs at the top but ive never seen it drop off like that and so far down. It caught me totally by surprise. That being said I know better than to just bomb up that hill without doing a test pass to check it out..Got careless and paid for it. That wont happen again I know that.
  8. Oh also that wasnt a burn on my leg like i thought just another nice wound to add to the list haha. Lets see the pics and vids you got of all the good sh*t!
  9. Im totally fine. Little sore but im good . After watching the other wreck I realized mine was minor in comparison. I slammed hard more than anything..rode it out like a boss..hahaha..I dont want that to over shadow what a epic day of riding we had..It was like old times again riding with Mike , Pete and Bert..We shredded that virgin sand.I was pinned in 5th looking for another gear many times...Pete leads a damn good dune ride like always..Hit some nice jumps. The weather was really nice. The wind kept it fairly cool. My new yfz ran really good and handles awesome. Even survived a cliff jump lol. All in all my mistake could have been 100% worse. I felt lucky to have all my teeth and no broken bones. Pete is like a Level 1 EMT and tapedmy chin back together haha..Super fun trip..It was nice meeting everyone who showed up. If u didnt u missed a great day of riding.
  10. Its about time to dominate some Summer Dumont sand..Looking forward to it too
