  1. Last I checked you cannot rebuild them and a new one ranges from $150 - $200 for a Onan 5.5. They get glogged very easy if they just sit around and are not started. Them charging you $500 to install the carb is insane, it only takes about 20 min to change it and even with the price of the carb is should not be that much.
  2. I have had both and prefer the 450, I am 6' 190 lbs and have not had to raise the bars. Both bikes are a great choice, my preference being the YFZ, but either bike is going to make them happy. It really is going to come down to riding style IMO, I think the YFZ is like a sports car and the Raptor is a cadillac.
  3. Why do you want to replace them? If they are binding, have your tried filing them down?
  4. One nice thing about the rain, is that it keeps the dust down in the meadow.
  5. I will check, someone might know of a frame going for cheaper than that.
  6. Do you only need a frame? You could probably find a frame somewhere for $400 shipped.
  7. Jessie on here got his old Raptor tuned by Dynojet, but I think he knows someone there come to think of it. Quads I go to Kenz Cycle Tech in Mesa.
  8. I forgot I had Jim's number and I lost yours when I broke my last phone.

  10. My kids is on her way to Hendo Chevy, hope it is a quick fix.
  11. Good read, little more than a direct replacement, but if you have to fill up a large tank or multiple tanks, this might be a great option. http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/index.php?showtopic=12238&hl=mallory
  12. Yeah I think that was the one, think he said it pump around twice as fast?
  13. There is a thread on here, that someone used a nonstandard pump that would pump fuel a lot faster than a traditional toyhauler pump
  14. Cool, that is what I found when I looked it up, just thought I would verify with the GM Tech guru's!! Thanks!! Now I just need to research a good/decent price and quality
  15. Good info!! Nothing like a straight pipe Tacoma!!
  16. Thanks!! Already been through the ringer on this truck, it is 17 year old kids truck and just trying to help him out. Just had it's ignition module replaced, do to not starting, now this, which looks like over $300 just for the cats now. Hope that this is something I can do myself, rather than paying a shop, but I guess that depends on if it is welded on or bolted. Time to crawl under this thing and see.
  17. 1999 Silverado with a 4.3L throwing code P0430, that when you look it up talks about either a catalytic converter or 02 Sensor. Just wondering is there a way to test the sensors?
  18. They are trying to hold hill races on Banshee hill the weekend before, if they do happen, stop by and check them out.
  19. Not being a sheep, just don't think it is a bad law either. I like riding around in the XP without a helmet, but I also do not have a valid argument against the law either. Sheep would also be someone that would agree and go with or just go with, but I am just stating what I think they will use as their means to enforce the law. I guess name calling is now where this thread has gone, rather than just discussing the law. Serta sheep 12 out Feel free to continue with the name calling!!
