  1. Jodi's pics show the sand storm we rode in better than the ones we got, it was so funny. Best thing was when me and Deven went to get our boots on, he starts to hand me mine and goes, 'This is crazy isn't it, probably not a good idea huh?' and I said, 'Yeah, probably not.' He goes "Do you still want your boots?' Me: 'Hell yeah, I'm gonna go ride!' So we both put on our boots and go
  2. So much fun!!! I'm so glad I took today off I'm sore from riding and laughing, and I think some of these bruises are from moshing too, dunno how that got started! HAHA.
  3. That really sucks guys, so sorry to hear that. Right before Xmas, people are so evil. I hope they are found and hung...
  4. It was tons of fun fo sho I played with the Mog in the mud just a little, but it is really hard to drive it in riding boots tho, and not made for tall people I thought stoppies were great, but mudding the Mog was even cooler, Cole got it goin good and spun us around all over the place!
  5. Yeah I was telling some highlights to my roommies the next day, and I told them, "it's not a party unless someone gets thrown in the pool, someone gets hurt, or something catches fire." We had all 3 so it must've been a good party Definitely continuing the fun over Turkey weekend! Oh BTW Josh's elbow/arm should be ok. Him and Pauly tore apart their bikes and put them back together yesterday, If he can do that I think he'll be OK, haha! It's bruised/swollen/hurts, but it's still functional. -Stoppies in the Mog are fun! -Someone was rolling around on the floor takin pics of it and the dog's paw till I took her Camera -Cole forgets to mention after being on fire not once but twice, caused by others, that he was willing to do it on PURPOSE. We didn't figure that would be a good idea, he avoided injury the 1st 2 times, why chance it again? and just one more highlight: -Mike wanted to tell everyone: HA he outlasted all ya'll, who's the old man now? LOL. Ok that may not be a direct quote but hey I was drunk as I was leaving too. It was something along those lines, he was calling everyone else pansies for dying out earlier than him I bet we got outta bed easier than you did though Mike...
  6. Stoppies STOPPIES!!! Lets do some more, Those were fun...
  7. Ya know I thought I missed ya, but maybe I was I won't follow you on a ride ever again, that's too dangerous, :argue: You post whore...
  8. I knew you'd say somethin, I was pickin on you just a tad Now that we know better, Turkey weekend we'll put you right behind Ang and she will pace it to you, she babied me for the first few trips last season, I'm a speed demon and ended up hurting myself before that, not knowin what I was doin and about the dunes So now that I'm learneded I'm a speed demon again Is it time to go ride again yet???
  9. LOL funny thing is we thought you'd bring up that funny name later during drinky time, but we brought it up! Wheelies in the rhino around the campfire are good times Mike's first layered shots, yummy, the second one almost made me yack lol, too much Vodka, haha! the glasses were funny too 'whoever gets the blinky one wins...' I had a blast, thanks to everyone we hung out with. It was Josh's first trip out there and he loved it too, aside from dislocating his shoulder jumping his buddy's bike, haha. I told him to go jump it again to get it back in place, I couldn't yank it hard enough I am so sore from riding but it's so worth it! Angela led some great rides, not haulin azz much since the dunes were a lil choppy, but it was lotsa fun! The rainy ride was way cool until I got back to camp and 'exfoliated' my arms! OH, I can't forget to add, duning my TACOMA was BADAZZ!!! I love my truck even more now! Thanks to Pauly for showing me some fun in the Toyota, and HAHA to everyone that thinks I'm crazy for letting him. Ok, maybe I'm a lil crazy, it was friggin worth it though, so much fun!
  10. I heard about this on Saturday, that's awful. My thoughts are with him and the family.
  11. I haven't been on here much so I just now saw this, sorry to hear he got hurt, but VERY GLAD to hear he's recovering well.
  12. You can buy a pig from the pig farm out near my place. I was talkin to my neighbor and his friends about it the other night, since I have a spit for my grill and we almost bought one for my housewarming last year (Hawaiian Themed party/food.) Okay, really they wanted to bury it in my backyard, but I didn't think that'd go over too well That dirt was hard as hell and I thought we might scare my new neighbors. Now my neighbor and I want to do a multi-house bbq/party, I love my new neighbors! The Hawaiians across the street still have dirt, maybe they'll show us how it's REALLY done...
  13. Okay I'm gonna try and pick up tickets for some friends this weekend or next week for Battle of the Bands, if anyone else wants me to pick them up tickets let me now ASAP.
  14. Hey everyone, have fun and be safe, I'll wave in your direction as we drive by there to go to Lake Powell Don't miss me too much and if you try any stunts make sure it's INTENTIONAL
  15. Well I haven't been on here for 3 years, but had already known/met other members before I did sign up, I finally broke down and signed on since I kept hearing all about it. And yes, now I am an addict, thanks alot guys... I'm kidding, it's good times and great peeps fo sho.
  16. My older bro used to make some awesome stuff, but hell not life size like that! You'd have to be rich just to buy that many lego's, I think the largest item he made was a lil house for me, mine always sucked. He usually did jets or tanks.
  17. Speech! Speech! Speech! "I'd just like to thank all you DDR muthabitchezzz for putting up with my azz..." Eff yo 4000 useless posts I'm over it... :laughoff:
  18. Yeah Pete, thats exactly it. I have tons of great pics, but I have to use a proxy to get on here at all at work(shhh) that doesn't allow me to upload anything. I haven't been home much all week except to pass out in my clothes and get up, shower, and run off the next day. Thanks for posting a couple Stacey. The service was awesome, one of our buddies stayed up late the night before and made a slideshow to Cody's music of pics of him with family, his squadron/friends, and the rest of us. A few of his closest Red Horse buddies spoke. Aside from the stupid Commander calling him Cory at least five times in his lil retarded speach (what an idiot,) the rest of the service was beautiful. Here's his memorial in the paper: http://www.reviewjournal.com/obituaries/in...?obitID=4359885 If you read some of the first comments you see that parents of friends that haven't even met him know all about him. The whole family and Ash are all doing pretty good, we've all been together as much as we can all week. Most of the family return to their homes outside of Las Vegas tomorrow or this weekend. Some of his Red Horse squadron deployed last night (the service was scheduled quickly to accomodate them,) with the rest deploying in 2 weeks to Iraq again. Please keep your thoughts with them, as many of them are saddened and weekened by the loss of their good friend, the 'glue' for many of them.
  19. I didn't see that until ya'll pointed it out. I clicked on the "It's offensive" link, it didn't make it go away though lol. The lady from that site did write me back: Thanks for writing. He sounds like a wonderful person. Unfortunately, the story of his passing did focus more on the explosive container, because Metro treated it like a live explosive. I will do my best to update the website story. She did change the online story slightly, I didn't think she would, but as I was writing this she wrote back and told me she added he'd already served in Iraq and that he leaves behind several family members including a new bride. The service will be on base at 2 pm tomorrow. I can't remember if anyone else on here had asked me about it, so PM me if you need more details. You have to be on a list or arrive with someone military to get on base, so get back to me if you need to be added to the list. Last night we went to one of our fave places, Scoundrels, put a ton of 'Cody' songs on the Juke Box, the 2 bartenders there who knew and loved him as well bought us drinks and we drank his faves with him (Ash ordered one for her and for him.) It was just a handful of us but then the rest of the group showed up and we all told funny memories and hugged and laughed and cried, and got yelled at 'Cody wouldn't want us to cry in our beers' so we did more laughing and hugging instead, tryin to choke back t he tears. I looked around and for a moment it looked like old times, but it was just missing one goofy grin and booming laugh. That was also the place where Code and Ash met, in the infamous (to us lol) 'Hurricane of Cash'. There are no words anyone can tell her to make anything feel better for her, there's only time, but she's surrounded by loving family and friends, and we are trying to be the glue that Cody once was to so many.
  20. Thanks everyone, you guys have been great. Yeah the media is BS. Ironic how they have a story about his squadron leaving again, and the show/luncheon they had, that Ash and Code were supposed to attend: http://www.lasvegasnow.com/Global/story.as...p;nav=menu102_2 But his article concentrates on the stinkin empty explosive. He wasn’t deploying to Iraq this time since he rec’d orders to Germany, but that’s his squadron. I emailed 4 of the news stations about it, basically told them a shorter summary of what I wrote above, but I doubt they’ll do anything about it. Who knows.
  21. Saturday, August 16th, at just after 11 am, a good friend and great person all around was taken away from us. He'd recently been married to another good friend, Ashleigh, just 2 weeks earlier. Some of you might have seen it on the news, I heard there was a blurb, but here's an article. http://www.klas-tv.com/Global/story.asp?S=8855213 Since all the news concentrated on was the empty explosives container and how the area was evacuated, I just want to share some things about the person whose life was taken. Cody was one of the most caring, happy-go-lucky people I've ever known. If you ever needed help with anything he was right there in an instant. He was in the Red Horse squadron of the Air Force, same as the military group we ride with, so if you see or talk to any of them give them your love, we've all been over with the family holding each other together. When Cody and our friend Ashleigh met, they together were even more happy and goofy than they already were apart. The perfect match. He has a wonderful family, His mom, his dad, his stepdad, and 2 brothers and 2 sisters, along with his new bride, that already miss him so much, and my heart goes out to all of them, this has been a very rough weekend, and the pain is not even close to subsiding. I'm sorry to bring sad news, but he was a great guy and will be terribly missed by MANY. He was only going around the corner to the Verizon store on his Harley, and now he's gone. He's been to Iraq several times, the last time on a Convoy team, which is even more dangerous. He always kept his group laughing no matter where they were stationed, and kept them all from being scared or depressed, from all of the stories we’ve all heard before, and the memories we’re hearing again now. He just re-upped in the service, and him and his new bride and their 3 dogs were on their way to Germany in October. They were waiting to go on their honeymoon until they relocated.
  22. I'm in, see ya guys prob just before seven. Count me for 2, I'm gonna stuff my face before I come ( j/k)
  23. My4DrGSR

    Oh My God!

WOW... Maybe that church group needs to get on that bus with that guy, eek. That's almost more insane than the beheading incident itself!!!
  24. I went to see Slyther with a friend, and have been to their last 2 shows, they rock! They're in the battle of the bands finals in September, but a few upcoming shows prior to that also. A band called Atticist played before them both shows, and I really liked them as well. I'm going to the battle of the bands, if anyone else is interested let me know, I can grab tickets. I'll probably hit the Cheyenne Saloon show as well if I can.
