I went there last week with my (former) roommate before she headed off to Japan (she's AF.) She RAVED about it cuz they have em in Minnesota where she's from, I wasn't highly impressed, it was just okay to me. The Salt Lick in the Redrock Station, on other hand, is DELISH, as close to Texas style BBQ as I've had outside of Texas... Prices aren't any steeper than Famous Daves and the servings are bigger and tastier...

Seriously, I've been laughed at many times, and I expect no less, and I will continue laughing, guy or girl or wtf-ever else there might be to laugh at, lighten up. Hell, we all got a good laugh at Tina at the meet n greet and nobody got hurt about that. In fact, just writing about it made me think about it and laugh again. Then the dune stooge event right after the meet n greet... Good times, good times...

LOL I was gonna post an observation about that but I couldn't remember the comics name. I thought Capt was gonna give us the boot and lock the door on us lol... :eatdrink021: When you make my drink more than half and half, I know the lightweight doesn't need you makin her a drink, hahaha!!! I am sooo happy to say I did not get stuck on the dune :eatdrink021:, and I went back up 3 times to help the stooges get out (funny that Tina makes up 2 of the 3 stooges... ). I did have 10 lbs of sand in my shoes that I dumped when we got to the north pole tho.

It was a great weekend, the cleanup went really well, the raffles went smoothly, and we did get to surprise PP for his bday, even tho we thought someone ruined the surprise the night before... A few observations: -Watchin PP jump the fire on the 3 wheeler 70 never gets old. Watching Bert take one huge circle on it ("it won't turn any sharper") was pretty funny too. -"Nobody brought beer, darnit." "Well where's the Dune Porter, I bet he has some." "What??? Heyyy, Shhh!!!" Oh there he is right there, lol... -"I'm not moving, what? Ohhh... Still not? Oh well..." Way to make a grand entrance at the meet n greet chickie, lol... -If Foxy has the camera and calls your name, watch for a slithering SandSnake about to bite... -Everyone in green but Jodi, what? Early St. Patty's day for us, lol. Oh and I went up Comp for the 1st time on my quad. Several times actually, didn't beat anyone up yet, but I'll work on that... Thanks gals, I'm not a chicken I just get stagefright, lol. It was pretty empty when we went tho, and the boys didn't roll up till I already went once, so I was all good then! Thanks everyone, for another wonderful weekend at the dunes!

I didn't even know about your forum shenanigans until the day after Thirsty Thurs, I haven't been on the forums as much I've been so swamped... But I coulda told you they wouldn't mop the floor with your face. But after the fact, when I read the insanely lengthy thread, I realized how everyone really needed a drink or 10 at TT...

Actually I almost walked right by the girls to where u guys were when I first walked in, till Tina yelled at me. Then I sat with them thinkin they were just over there till we were done havin a :mc_smiley: , but we never moved :chug: ... I wasn't trying to be anti-social, next time I'll go the extra 20 feet... Although, come to think of it, when u walked by to go check out the new truck, I did smell somethin funny... :dance:
