The Jeff Fields transmissions are actually Audi auto trannys he rebuilds and beefs up. The are a nice choice but expensive about $15K. I imagine any other automatic transaxle will be in that price range.

Come on! Everybody already knows Funco's are ugly but my car is ugly on purpose. My car is so damm ugly I took it out of my avatar. I figured if I had an ugly car noone would want to steal it. Can you say Barney the singing dinosaur? Just for the record. If I could afford a Funco I would have one myself. They don't look like a stinkbug that's been smacked in the head.

These are the weekend I plan on going out this season: October 25-28 November 9-12 (Veterans Day trip to Glamis) November 21-25 (Thanksgiving Weekend) HELL YEAH! Decemger 7-9 December 27-January 1 2008 (Happy New Year!) January 18-21 (Martin Luther King Day) February 1-3 February 15-18 (Presidents Day) February 29-March 2 March 14-16 March 28-30 Maybe more but just doing this will be a stretch.

IMO If you want something for duning the buggy seems like a good deal and forget about the truck. INVISIRAILS are the most bada$$ ones around. :beer_bang:

There was a Ranger McDonald out there this weekend that I thought was cool. He gets paid to ride his Raptor in the dunes all weekend. He could have easily gave me a ticket when my flag broke and I didn't have one. COOL. Threatening to give me a ticket for being a wimp. NOT COOL. Seriously, He was cool and I for one would be glad to see him out there. The only people that worry about a Ranger or a cop is someone that is doing something illegal.
