Dexter EZ Flex Shackels Install with Pictures!
dunefreak replied to bp-guy's topic in Toyhauler/ RV Talk
Yikes, some of those shackles and parts look like they were about to ruin a dune trip. I've been there before. I talked with barefoot bob just a couple days ago. He's no longer going out for Tday. He said that plan got rear ended. :porn: lol -

Just thought we need a TBT thread on here. Post any pics from good times back in the day! Old pics are always the best. It can be dune related or not. I'll start. This was 1993 or 94! I was 16/17 years old airing out my 79 C10 with Rancho suspension coils along the railroad tracks near Blue Diamond! It was somewhat the beginning of what I never knew was my passion- playing in the desert with my toys. Those were some good times!

Same here. I'm really looking forward to it too! I DVR'd all the races and would usually watch them after supercross with some riding buddies. It was just last year I started following Caselli. His performance and attitude really shined at Dakar. I didn't know BJ was racing Dakar this year. That's awesome. I always love watching Cyril Despres. Weird to see him on a Yamaha now!

You know what they should do? Pave the road.

You're killing me. I'm also sitting at work day dreaming about riding!

Nice numbers. That sound is music to my ears!

Yamaha ITP Wheels/paddles Trade/Free
dunefreak replied to bmitchell373's topic in Miscellaneous stuff for sale
free? You could have gotten something for them. Hell a 12 pack of beer at least. haha -
Wow Vic. You have very high sticker demands! I will answer your questions though. We stopped doing the OE style for a couple reasons. Another Dumont site that surfaced after DDR started using a very similar font and people were confusing the 2 sites. Not only that those stickers were very difficult to weed out the vinyl because the font style. That and it was time for a newer image as years went on. I will consider getting some made up and be handed out at the next cleanup. It will be a donation from DDR. The vast array of free stickers you remember were being done at no charge by AMR Graphics in exchange for some advertising services. They no longer wanted to continue that deal so now we pay for them. Yes I remember handing them out at the poker run stations. FoDD & DDR stopped doing the poker runs years ago because the permitting requirements changed after the MDR race where those people died. Remember that? Hope that covers all your concerns.

It's a TV show originally aired on TruTV.

GREAT news. JJ is on his way home from the hospital.
-
Stickers are in! Please pm me your addresses and I'll get these out soon. Anyone who is in Henderson or Vegas we can make arrangements for pickup.
-
I plan on getting there Thurs night.
-
Clean up spot would work. Nice and easy to get to plus hard packed so nobody gets stuck.
-
You should be able to charge them together as 12V. Just be sure hook up the charger the same way your cables are wired.

Had to share this awesome video in this thread as well. Kurt was so talented and best of all his attitude was perfect. He was very humble, didn't have a big ego like many riders, and just enjoyed riding. Like he said, "It's not about anybody else, it's purely up to you". RIP fellow orange rider.

Some of you might not have heard, but JJ (lvnalolife) is in the hospital. He recently had a mild heart attack back in August and had a couple stints put in. He was doing good until recently. He had another heart episode of some sort. Even though the EKG did not indicate a heart attack, doctors were calling it a silent heart attack due to his blood work results. To complicate things even more, his kidneys are damaged because of his diabetes. ISBB and I went and visited him last night in the hospital. We chatted and hung out for an hour or so and I gave him some Sand Sports mags . Despite his condition and feeling like crap, he was still happy JJ. They were running fluids through him so they could do an angiogram. As of today Rosemarie (his wife) reported some good news that they successfully put in 2 more stints. Now they must focus on his kidneys. He'll be in recovery for a few hours and in the hospital for a few more days. Say a prayer for him and keep him in your thoughts. He's too good of a guy and way too young to deal with this stuff!
