Had to share this awesome video in this thread as well. Kurt was so talented and best of all his attitude was perfect. He was very humble, didn't have a big ego like many riders, and just enjoyed riding. Like he said, "It's not about anybody else, it's purely up to you". RIP fellow orange rider.

Some of you might not have heard, but JJ (lvnalolife) is in the hospital. He recently had a mild heart attack back in August and had a couple stints put in. He was doing good until recently. He had another heart episode of some sort. Even though the EKG did not indicate a heart attack, doctors were calling it a silent heart attack due to his blood work results. To complicate things even more, his kidneys are damaged because of his diabetes. ISBB and I went and visited him last night in the hospital. We chatted and hung out for an hour or so and I gave him some Sand Sports mags . Despite his condition and feeling like crap, he was still happy JJ. They were running fluids through him so they could do an angiogram. As of today Rosemarie (his wife) reported some good news that they successfully put in 2 more stints. Now they must focus on his kidneys. He'll be in recovery for a few hours and in the hospital for a few more days. Say a prayer for him and keep him in your thoughts. He's too good of a guy and way too young to deal with this stuff!

Somewhat better news about Caselli. His fatal crash was NOT a result of a booby trap. That was just an internet rumor. It appears he hit a small animal before his crash. KTM's official statement: "The team, who have now recovered Kurt's bike discovered traces on the machine that indicate he had collided with some small animal, which apparently caused the crash."

Nice. Congrats on the sale brutha.

Man....what a sad day today. I can't believe this! It's sounding like there was a man made boobie trap set up. Someone on TT said he hit it so hard it ripped his forks clean off. I really hope this is not the case. He deserved so much more than this. Either way he was an incredible rider and was on his way to becoming a legend.

As much as I absolutely hate holiday weekends, all my Cali friends are heading out. Miss you guys! So I was thinking of a Fri night-Sunday trip to D that weekend. If you end up going to D, let me know Jack!

How do you cook your turkey at Dumont? Deep fryer? Infrared? In past years we injected ours with tabasco and deep fried ours. Turned out great.

I have run just about every E rated 15" trailer tire that Discount Tire carries. They are all garbage. Every single one of them separate over time and grow tumors. +1 on the 16" LT radials. They're he way to go.

We've got a great group so far. The more the merrier! Really looking forward to this trip.

I think the setting went away during the last update of Invision because it used to work. See here. http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/index.php?showtopic=17078 I fixed it. It's there now, but instead of delete it will say now say HIDE. Just hide your sold ads for now until I can figure out how to get the delete feature back. I don't want to allow members to be able to delete just any topic. I just want it to be allowed in the classifieds for moderating reasons.
