your pics were way too big. The forum will not allow pics to upload when they are 3264x2448 pixels. I fixed your post and uploaded your pics.

Thanks. It seemed so much easier and more conveinant for battery access this way. I'm suprised I have never seen it mounted there before. You can't even really see it when the bike is on the ground. I have seen 6 pack rack mounts too but that looks like crap I think.

:ahhhhh: huge air...nice! I would have tried choosing a lil bit smoother, downhill landing area though. crazy ma fackas.
-
Thanks Cole! Yeah it was just easier to cruise down to Tommy's with some beer and hook it up. It's coming together pretty well now. I got my throttle cable and intake adapter today. I just have to run down to 50cal's and grab a pipe, then wire it up. That's pretty much about it. I'm gettin stoked.

gotcha. bring a shovel and any cones or stuff you think will help with the track setup
-
Not exactly. There isn't gonna be any drunken riding in this event. That will not be tolerated one bit. This is a legit event where atc owners actually get together and tear it up on these things. No alcohol needed for that kinda fun. The beers come out later after it's over when it's time to party. :drunks:

Post up a pic now. (only one) The winner's dune pic will be posted on the homepage after the contest is over. The member's screen name will be posted up with it as well. You may also post a caption or description included with the pic. Please limit posts in this thread to pictures only. Dune Pic of the Month- Rules 1. The picture must be YOURS. Do not go surfing the internet looking for one to submit. You cannot post any copyrighted pics. Let's just try and be honest about it. (We aren't gonna get that serious about this anyways) 2. The picture must not have any watermarks or logos on it. 3. The picture must be at least 600 x 600 pixels. It will be displayed on the home page if it wins the most votes so therefore we would like it to be a decent size picture. 4. The picture must abide by the terms and conditions (rules) of this board. 5. Post only ONE picture per contest.

progress progress progress New chain and sprockets installed... I started mounting the electronics on the skid plate to go up in the frame... My buddy Tommy giving me a hand with some welding on my battery tray I fabbed up... My custom battery tray with starter relay mount. Here's where it will mount... I also widened the footpegs and made new tabs so I could still run the factory heel gaurds. Badass Rouge grips on Pro Tapers. I am running all Yamaha stuff like Raptor thumb throttle and Raptor headlight/ starter/ kill switch for the electric start. And then drilled a hole so I could hide the wire for the LED tail light

You can run the over pipe from Sterdy Products or most crf50 pipes should work with little finessing. Thanks Tyler.

I have always liked Sand Sports mag better than SA anyways. I'm a subscriber for life. :surrender:

Some people get it and love em...some don't. It's gonna be fun as hell. :surrender:

Yep, you guys are good. No problem, you are good as well.
-
hey guys... Let me clear up some confusion on a couple things that I thought everyone would understand without explanation. 1) In order to pre-register or make an order in the DDR store (ie: purchase a participant package or rsvp as a spectator, etc) you need to register a new store account. Your DDR forum account is completley separate from that so your forum log in info will not work in the store. 2) RSVP'ing as a free spectator (which costs nothing) does not entitle you to an event t-shirt. If you want to come out but also want a shirt, you will need to select spectator package, then keep shopping and purchase a t-shirt as well. If there are any questions feel free to email me (pete@dumontduneriders.com) or just post up. Thanks.

Man from the sound of these posts, RZR owners have some serious pride in the manufacturer, Polaris. Good for you guys! That's great!

It is way too big. Resize it down and upload it.

We shall see hopefully very soon! Thanks Andy! Good info there. I need to get a sprocket too so that info helps a bunch. I have a few things to do still like get a pipe, mod the footpeg bar, and finish building my battery holder. It is coming along great though. I am so stoked to hear this this run and most of all to just hit that button to fire it up instead of the ol skool pull start.
-
Well not much progress yet...I'm still waiting on more parts. They should be here today or monday. I can't wait to fire this thing up and ride it. I polished up the axle tubes.

awesome I will probably roll over about 7:30, guys. Steveo is planning on coming with too.

Smashed your balls? I was just messin around since the Polaris RZR was starting to be talked up about like it was the new land speed record setter at Dumont. Don't get me wrong, those RZR's look like a ton of fun and I'd love to have one but I love the hell out of my rail. To each their own. I don't give a damn what anyone has for a dune toy...let's dune! :atc: woohoo

These are now available through the DDR store. :atc: http://store.dumontduneriders.com/index.ph...dex&cPath=7 If you'd like to prepay for an order you can do so by ordering online, then selecting store pickup at the end of checkout and Randog will deliver your parts to the regatta. Otherwise, check free shipping and they will be mailed to you.
