I camp right along the last finger dune. You can't miss our camp with the "big gay balloon".

We'll have it up on Tday! We have made it a tradition now every big trip to have a DDR meet-up ride.

We usually meet at a certain time at the bottom of the big face hill on the left of the opening to the woops to comp....

Keep posted here on DDR for the meet-up ride time and place.

I agree. 4 wheelers are fun, but they just don't do it for me like a 2 wheeler does.

Yeah sanddunesaddict (Bert) did! Last year we JUST got to camp and he lit a little stupid bottle rocket and it landed right back down in camp. A ranger came over and saw it and busted him for it. He had the evidence right there! Only Bert. He has bad luck with rangers.

While filming my friend Ryan shooting up comp hill, I managed to catch this guy ALLLLLLMOST flip his sandrail. I don't have the video uploaded yet, but here are still frames from the video. I'll try and get the video to work soon.

The video is much better, but that will hold you guys over for now.

I may have these made into stickers oon. They will be 4" in diameter.

The sticker is how I found this site, our group of a dozen or so quads were lined up at the pole when you put the sticker on. You were asking one of the guys about his KFX 700 and I am the gray haired old fart riding the queep (1/2 quad and 1/2 jeep AKA Sportsman 700. My 250r had a coolant leak problem so I couldn't take it and had to ride the queep on family rides and then rode the wifes green KFX 700 on guy rides. But over turkey day I hope to have the 250r repaired.

Stay tuned here for time and place over TurkeyDay weekend for a DDR ride. It's where we all meet up and go for a ride together- usually out to the north pole and then come back around comp towards camp.

Looks good Nick I think that's a good idea for when everyone from here meets up for DDR dune rides. Have your DDR name on your helmet. It's an easy way to identify other DDR members.

I don't know what you guys are talkin about though. I thought the dunes were pretty smooth. ISBB, you need to get a front ribbed tire before next ride out.

Saturday we had to roll out to the north pole to put the DDR seal of approval on there! I'm hoping this way we can help get the word out for DDR.com for other riders of Dumont.

Where was everybody for the DDR meet-up ride, huh? Oh well, maybe Thanksgiving weekend.

I just got back form Dumont this afternoon. Weather was awesome. Sand was nice and smooooth. I didn't get out there till Sat at about 12 o clock though I didn't find out till Friday I was scheduled to work that following Saturday. I got right to riding though as soon as I got there. Then, I found out my rear tire on my YZ250 was flat when I got ALLLL the way out to the north pole. Whatever I just cruised back on the flat tire- what are ya gonna do? Even flat that thing hooked up good though.

My friend Ryan, his car went good. FAST! We did some filming of it up comp. It throws a serious roost. I'll get the video clips up soon. He had some minor issues, but nothing major. While filming him up comp I was able to grab video of 4 guys in a long-tavel car almost go over. They tiped the car up on it's side while turning around real fast. I'll post that video soon.

Just about anything in a can will blow up in the fire. You can get pretty creative at 3 in the AM at the dunes.

hey I'm not much better. My name on other forums such as planet sand, GD.com, duneguide, campcoe, etc ranges from dunefreak, to dunejockey, to FULLTHROTTLE dune-jockey, to DumontDuneRider, &DumontDuneRiders.com, etc. whatever Why not make everyone figure it out, huh

Anybody else meeting up this weekend for the ride?

I am getting the order together for stickers, beenies, hats, etc. I would like to get some feedback before the order goes in as to what you would all like see made up? What size and color stickers do you all want? What type of DDR gear would you most like to get your hands on? Hats, beenies, tshirts, jackets, etc....? Knowing all this ahead of time will help keep the costs of DDR gear down for all members.
