  1. Damn, trav!! Good job and good thinking! That's crazy! How hard did they hit the coach? Is it okay? At least you recovered the quad for someone. Props to you and Kenny!
  2. too damn cool! That takes some serious balls!
  3. Sweet! Nice car and nice pic! Welcome to DDR
  4. well yeah- it will leak if it's full! We can't have that now can we!!??
  5. Yeah, don't worry. You'll find us....if not we'll have to give you one of these... because we will be almost impossible to miss. here is a map I made at work because I ran out of motivation for the day
  6. What about the hole in the corner of it???? I'll bring the plaster and the beer!
  7. Scott camp should be visible from the main gravel road. Just before bathroom 6, hang a right on the road and we should be about 100-200 yards from the road. The banner will be facing the main road. Were you there over the cleanup weekend. If so the DDR camp will be in the same spot as then which was right next to (just past) the Suspensions Unlimited Truck/ trailer. If you or anyone else needs more specifics for the camp location, just PM me for my # and I can try and explain the location better if needed. I don't have GPS coordinates though, sorry.
  8. Scott, you should find us w/ no problem. You could bring whatever goes w/ burgers and dogs. I'd say account for about 20-30 people I'm guessing. I'll post up the exact camp location when Don29palms and OGPimp get there on Wednesday AM. Can't wait...should be good times and lookin forward to meeting you.
  9. Lodging is always free as long as there is room. Where is your storage lot located for this piece?
  10. Everyone hold off on the burgers for another day or so. Pauly Paul's dad works for a food distribution company and he might get us a case of each (dogs and burgers) I'll let everyone know if we need any by Wednesday. As for other stuff besides burgers, get creative or something. Just bring something....maybe a veggie or meat/cheese platter or something
  11. U take trades??? I'll trade you a big screen projection TV for it! You're friggin crazy, April!
  12. What type of diesels do you see on the road all day, every day towing enormous toyhaulers and trailers?......that's right...all of them! They are all good trucks. Every one of the diesels are good engines...Powerstroke, Cummins, Duramax. In my opinion, they have ALL been proven to be reliable and crank out tons of power, it's just a matter of preference. The dually will give you some added stablity, but if it's gonna be your daily driver, I'd stick w/ the 1 ton SRW. But that's just me.
  13. who me? Why did you quote me? Are you guys serious? You don't see a face in the rocks?
  14. Can anyone bring some burgers and buns???
  15. That Ford dually would more than likely be wingnut, ash. I personally have always been a Chevy guy, so I can't offer you much help on those 2 trucks, sorry. I love my DMax though.... 60mph up Potisi (going to Dumont) fully loaded w/ my 34 ft t/h! Either way you go though, they are all good trucks. Sounds like if you like your truck already and it works for you- I wouldn't take the plunge just because of the nice new factor. I doubt you would really gain any power from the Cummins over what you already have. Sounds like you have a good setup already. Just my .02.
  16. I tried that once..................ONCE!
  17. I doubt they would be cheering that much if their friend was unconcious! I bet that would sober those guys up real quick!
  18. WHAT??? sellout! j/k you gonna be over in your usual spot then, Craig?
  19. I didn't rebuild it. The rings and head looked great when I tore it down. Heads Up Perf found sand in no 4 cyl. actually there were problems. The car sometimes ran great, and then sometimes ran like crap. I'll get it figured out this week. I think I have it narrowed down. It's just a misfire- it can't be too involved........hopefully.
  20. Well the 3 or 4 hours of the weekend I spent at Dumont were pretty nice. :monkeedance2: It was a bit on the windy side in the AM, but then calm winds, 80/85 degrees after 11AM. The dunes were hard as hell to read- real steep razors and shaped all funky. They were similair to the dunes on the beginning of the cleanup weekend. That weekend when the tre hermanos, ynot, and myself went on a buggy ride that friday am the dunes were similair in the way that were very difficult to read. The dunes were all like cliffs on one side and made it almost impossible to pick and follow a line. Glad I found Ross (justntime) and his group to hang out with and go for a couple runs together. It was fun. Can't wait for the weekend. (Easter)
  21. Just got back from Dumont and well................still runs like sh*t. :monkeedance2: It misfires inetermittantly under load over 5000 rpms. I have a feeling its a bad coil in one cylinder. Scott has a set of injectors and coils he said I can take out w/ me next weekend so I can trouble shoot it. It sucks because I can't get it to misfire unless I am duning the damn thing. I was pretty pissed to find that my car still had some issues, but I am convinced it's something really simple as it always is. I am gonna try and stay positive and really look at everything on the motor in detail this week. I'll figure it out one way or another. The way it is acting feels like a secondary ignition misfire. Hopefully it's something as simple as a coil. I'll keep you guys posted if I figure this damn thing out hopefully REAL soon! uggh
