Oh no, I'm not not going this weekend because of the heat. I am just done for the season beacuse of the NUMEROUS trips I have done. I am a lil burned out on the weekend trips for now. I have definitely gotten my fix for the season. :headbang: The heat doesn't really bother me much. Just don't stop when you are out riding and then crank the AC when you get back to camp and do some of this.... :smiley: :smiley:

I'm done for the season. The next time I make it out there will probably be sometime in June for an early morning ride :smiley: . :headbang:

I have an OD AND a tow-haul button as well on mine. :angry: I can disable OD and keep it in tow/haul mode.

JJ, I have been on that site ever since I got my DMax and that's where I have read that 1400-1500 degrees pre-turbo is okay as long as it's not held there for extended periods of time. 1300 degrees is max ok temp if it's after the turbo from what all those diesels guru peeps over there have said.

I doubt it. With being such a small vebnue they will sell out I'm sure. I wouldn't wait if you want to go. As for the Extreme Thing, no I'm not going. I don't like any of the bands that will be there.

It's almost impossible to mount it on the down pipe on a DMax from what I have seen. The down pipe has a heat shield covering the whole pipe out of the turbo and is stuffed behind the motor up against the firewall. I could go farther down, but that is too far away from the turbo to read accurate. :angry:

Just curious how high everyone else's exhaust temps get up to when towing. I was suprised how high mine get when pulling Mt Potisi! I decided to back off 5mph and let my motor live a lilttle when the manifold temp got to 1600 degrees! As soon as I backed off a tiny bit the temp dropped to 1400 deg immediately. I am guessing my "after turbo temp" is no more than 1200-1250 degrees. What are your temps and is your pyro gauge reading pre turbo or after? Mine is before the turbo (in the exhaust manifold) therefore my actual turbo temp is gonna be lower than the gauge temp reading.

I believe tickets were like $25 or so. Gerald, they have played there before. It was great. Sound quality is actually pretty good. They move all the arcade games to the side and they play on a little stage right under the stairs. Smaller venues are the best for Taproot! The only downfall is that it's usaully an all ages show there, and the bar situation sucks. :headbang:
