Its not hard to find Dumont at night, but to find someone's camp if you've never been there- YES. See if your friends can meet you at a spot like the ranger station or vendor row. You know some sort of landmark at a specific time. If we ever have a newbie coming out to our camp, I just find out about when they will be pulling in and I just sit down at the entrance by the ranger station and keep an eye out for them.

westbrookj71, I don't think you know what you're in for. Here are a few pics of when its a little crowded out at Dumont. There will probably be a few hundred strobe lights out there this weekend.

Hey do you know Brice w/ the McFlurry? I think he mentioned that Rhino to me last trip. If so, that thing is loud! :shocked2: The one from his camp could be hear loud and clear the 1st or 2nd night at Dumont on Halloween.

Yeah you are right. Most quads do have an age posted for riders. Its actually 16! I know there are a sh*tload of riders out at the dunes UNDER 16 on those things too.

As some of you may or may not know- I broke both my wrists over the past weekend. :shocked2: Yeah, sh*tty! I am still planning to meet up for the DDR ride even if it means driving my crippled a$$ over to the hill in my truck just to meet up. My goal is to maybe get my rail out there and ride passenger in it if I can find a trust worthy driver from my camp. We'll see how the rest of my messed up week goes. Hope to see all of you out there.

Thanks. I just got back from the doctor and what a waste of time!!! :angry2: After already being to the ER and them telling me I need to see an orthopedic doctor, my insurance co made me see my normal/ family doctor in order to get a refrral to an ortho. WTF!? So I wasted 3 fckin hours of my life getting pissed off at some stupid medical center just so some 12 yr old aisan boy (the doctor) could look at my Xrays and say, "YEAH, LOOKS LYE YOO BROKE YO WRISTS. WOOOAW, HOW YOU DO DAT?" f*ckin idiot. Now I have to wait until Wednesday to go to the Ortho. I'll probably be casted up on both arms. I can't see them just leavin me in splints. This sucks. The only good thing that came of this afternoon was getting a prescription for Percasets. Lord knows I'm gonna need them too. :angry2:

I wasn't there when Wes' buddy lost the wheel on his car, but yeah that one. As you first enter the whoops to go to comp- the hill on the left side about half way down.

Banshee Hill is to the left of the woops going towards comp. Its where they had Banshee Wars. All the lame a$$ hill shooters race there.

I can use my fingers pretty well still, as you see I can still type and work a mouse on the computer. I'll manage. I already joked to Anna (duniemonkie) about her havin to learn how to wipe my a$$.

sh*tty, Jeremy (onelong61) knows the Baldwins pretty good. My condolences to them.
