  1. I wouldn't expect any less of a reply from you Dave!
  2. THNX Don. We'll see how things go. I should be able to make it out Saturday. I'd love to see some sand w/ no wind this time.
  3. I might see if I can make it at least for that Saturday (10th) to at least come and hang out. I'm still crippled , but I can still drink the hell out of some beer! Anyone interested in giving a cripple a few rides around the dunes in their rail? pllllllllleeease
  4. This is becoming a big problem quickly too! People need to take time and learn how to drive safely when they get a rail. Like you said, there is a time and place for doing wheelies and stuff. With companies financing sandrails more & more lately, there are a lot of inexperienced drivers out there in cars that can really get them or someone else hurt or killed.
  5. I am crippled too! WTF am I gonna be able to do?
  6. exactly You don't need someone to tell you what you can and can't do. Let's go riding!
  7. You enter that link in the prompt window that pops up when you click the image icon--->
  8. Fk yo couch! Is that you Chris? VegasJones?
  9. jjlorme, click & read this Maybe this will give you a little info.
  10. Sweet, They all campin w/ us? I'll be there on New Years regardless if my arms are healed up or not. Hopefully I can at least drive my rail by then. Crossing my fingers.
  11. No, this Paul is from SandBros.com.
  12. I received an e-mail from a guy who unfortunately lost his 2 wheeler on the way home from dumont. If anybody knows about this bike please help him get it back. Here is his e-mail:
  13. So does anybody else know of any services in Baker for jjlorme? ^^^^ Let's not forget what the topic was here.
  14. Sounds good, ynot. I was gonna help be part of the FODD cleanup anyways, but I was thinking of maybe having the DDR trip not only be a clean-up trip, but a big DDR get-together where we could all camp together and make it a big yearly thing. We can talk more later about the FODD cleanup trip where DDR gets involved to help.
  15. I have never heard of a service like that which comes out to Dumont, but you might consider this for extra black/grey water tanks. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO
  16. I was gonna plan on our own DDR Dumont cleanup trip sometime maybe in January, but then I broke mt damn arms and I don't know when I will be 100%. I still might try an organize & partially fund our own cleanup trip though. I'll keep everybody posted. :headbang:
  17. NO-TOIL? Never heard of it. Is it a pre-filter or something? :headbang:
  18. Oh yeah forgot. Jim told me today that she (Dorie) broke her arm near her elbow and her tailbone too! :headbang: Sucks bad for her. I hope she gets better soon, but unfortunatley she is gonna be out for a while I think. The worst part about it was she just started a new job and yep, NO INSURANCE! That ride from Dumont to the hospital is gonna be a pretty penny. I thought I had it bad w/ 2 broken wrists.
  19. Sweet video Aaron, it seems like whoever had the left lane got the win. The bottom of the hill looks a bit curved, would that have something to do w/ it? Maybe just an optical illusion. Either way, your s*it's FAST. Sucks about that clutch. I'd fire that mechanic of yours! I heard that guy who put it in didn't know what he was doing. :headbang: j/k
  20. Steve, could you stay on the topic? Otherwise the thread gets all cluster f*cked when you guys go off on another tangent. Thanks
  21. I went w/ a ShortSandCar cause it was for sale in the local classifieds. I fell in love with it and couldn't pass it up for the price. If I didn't buy that car, it would probably still be a Short anyways. I like Tom Pro's cars too, but if I were to buy a car brand new, ShortSandCar. Their reverse box has a limited slip diff in it which allows for cutting brakes :headbang: . Beside, Larry was the original m/c powered rail builder back in the 80's. He knows how to build those things the best if you ask me. Just my .02
  22. I am running a ribbed tire on the front. Don't even waste your time with a knobby. You can get away w/ it, but why? What a difference the ribbed tire makes! :headbang:
  23. Sunday morning as we began to clean up camp, we noticed all this trash left at the camp next to us. I just don't get it. Don't people understand that if everybody left their trash behind like this, the dunes wouldn't be open to ride and camp in? Not to mention what a pig sty Dumont would be. There was everything from beer cans all over, a GLASS wine bottle, a big GLASS tequilla bottle, GLASS beer bottles, a DelTaco burrito and wrapper, trash bags FULL of trash, and all kinds of sh*t. To those who camped there next to us, if you see this.... :headbang: Pick up your sh*t! Remember???? PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT! and NO GLASS CONTAINERS!
